Info: Recommended Editions of Disney Animated (and Partially Animated) Features

Thanks jolennon. Checked them out and cautiously optimistic.

My biggest hatred for Disney’s ‘restorations’ is when they scrub the image and then use edge enhancement.
The images look computer generated instead of hand drawn
Lines can get thicker and thinner as they go and the ends are smoothed to a point.
Those screenshots don’t that issue.

Btw, the Digital Bits is reporting that Snow White is getting a 4k this year as well.

Oooh.

I have the 4k release from the Disney Movie Club of Cinderella and it is a excellent image. All the details are there that were scrub away on the blu ray. All the lines and sparkles in her dress are intact.

Info: Analog Home Video Releases of Films That Feature Additional Footage That've Never Been Digitally Released

I claim that whoever said there is 18 seconds difference is wrong. All those shots are production photos that can be found in The film and the legend book. Even you can see the attempt to hide the spine in the book in the last shot. Dracula has always been the same on all formats nothing has been added to the theatrical cut. The images can be found on pg 55,62,63,100,121 and 132&133

Stephen King's IT (1990) - Original two-part version! [RELEASED]

Of course it does.
For example, if there will be identical footage on BluRay, then I will try and re-use it. For example, if the end credits of Part 1 are identical to the BluRay end credits, I could use these instead. Same for the opening of Part 2 (if it is the same as Part 1, that is).

I am curious if the 576i source will be of better quality than the (very good) NTSC LD by RidgeShark. 😃

My next step will be gettin the BluRay (the steelbook I preordered is scheduled for Oct 12th) and match the colors, the noise level and the framing of the LD source to the Blu.

the end credits for both parts are different.

Star Wars Trilogy SE bluray color regrade (a WIP)

Your color regrade techniques would work great to regrade Dracula (1979)

Here is the Blu ray

I did this using photoshop but you probably could do better.

Help Wanted: for my 'Dracula 1979 Theatrical Color Edit'....
Time

With the recent blu ray and having a HD image to work with. I was testing some screen shots to see if it was possible to bring the color back to the film. I don’t know how to color correct a video so any help would be great.
