You are actually right, yotsuya! I’ve just made a custom color correction based on some different bits I’ve seen here and there including an old CAMrip and it keeps a lot of green aspects. I guess I’ll be releasing it soon if you guys are interested.

althor1138 has released at least 2 different LD sets that were done from release prints. One German and one French. They are still up on MS. I downloaded the French one and it is interesting, but the colors are all over the place. Some shots are very blue, some yellow, some magenta. Worth looking at but I didn’t find it very helpful.
Exactly. The French laserdisc uses different sources and looks pink as hell for the most part. The TV rip comes from a completely different master though. A 35mm theatrical print which looks to be the same during the whole movie.
I have an old French VHS TV rip which was sourced from a release print, probably a 35mm one.
Is anyone here interested in having this? Could be useful as another color reference.

Yup! Indeed. The original stereo track had a slight saturation/clipping during that line, that’s why they decided to use a different take to cover it for the new 5.1 audio mix.

Let’s keep in mind that Netflix broadcasts in a bitrate that is approximately 3 to 5 mbps which is freaking low compared to the 25 mps you get on a Blu-ray. Then you just can’t download Netflix flux so that means capture and capture = dropped frames…

Remastering the Prequels in 4K? I don’t really see the point since Ep. II & III were shot on 1080p video.
I have a good French 720p 23.976 fps version of it. Might be HDTV sourced.
EDIT: Just checked and the “HDNet Movies” logo shows up sometimes during the movie. SilverWook is right, it’s the same version as the one you can find with some easy search.
