Here's my render of the Temple Siege expect I used ESB Vader (he's my favourite)

I agree with Adywan...
If you are going to do a Darth Vader temple scene then it should be the Vader that we see from ANH but more clean looking and still using the original helmet and armor.
efx Collectables have just released their Limited ANH Vader helmet which has a clean "spray" paint job and has less of the original defects which would make sense seeing as he's just been put into the suit.
I have both the ROTS and ANH helmets and now that I see them side by side, the orginal ANH helmet wins hands down.
Here's a render that was done a while ago.
Does that mean the final edit will now be in 1080p?
Very slick but...
... I agree, it needs more color, and perhaps replace the original blue backdrop color with red so that it's different.
The 720P MKV version is much clearer, you can see more detail on the Emperor (including the eyes)
Damn you youtube and your terrible MP4/fla compression.
Hi Ady.
Love the new Palpatine. I think he needs a little more detail in the eyes, bring out some of that Sith yellow we see in the 2004 version.
It'll make him look more evil and creepy ;-)
Yeah, there seems to be something un-natural about his blinks. Other than that it's awesome!
There is only one voice in the Star Wars Saga

Really? If this is actually the original scene shot in 1980s I'll eat my shoes.
1)It's totally not really Mark Hamill.
2) He's not wearing the glove (M.H. said he remembers wearing it in that scene).
3) The dismountable lightsaber prop made especially for that scene is not use, insted the riddiculous stand in for M.H. screws with a screwdriver (apparently not actually doing anything) to convey the idea of finishing the sabre.
4) All that footage is shot prequel style (I'm pretty sure that it's the ROTS Vader costume in the Vader shots and it uses a weird video-like zoom and the whole thing just looks like a home made video to me - yes I know it is shot with a camera from a screen but I somehow don't think that is the reason it looks like it does).
I think it sucks ass and it definitely should not be put into the movie, even if they restored the actual original scene. Much like the Jabba scene in SW it was originally cut for a good reason and should be kept out.
I own a Master Replicas ROTS helmet and this looks more like a ROTJ Vader than ROTS.
Um yeah he gets his glove after this scene. This is obviously the scene where he's in Obi-Wan's hut having gained the knowledge of how to contruct his own light-sabre and making the finishing touches.
Who can say if it really is Mark Hamill or not. Look at the New Tron Legacy trailer and what they did with Jeff Bridges. It would have been even easier for Lucasarts to CG Mark Hamils Lips and bum chin hehe.
Just have to wait and see ;-)

Or you can show Ming and his friends trying to shoot imperial troops that are deploying from the crashed walker like i suggested in an old mockup. and then the speeder comes and blasts the cr@p out the walker it will make more sense(?)
After looking at the scene again there is no possible way that the troops could have got out of the Walker in time. Not only would there be injures and others would be disorientated, but there is just no time between the Walker crashing and the speeders blowing it up for anything like this to happen.

On a somewhat related note, I have the OT "Entertainment Utility" that LFL released back in 1995 with all the cool sounds, phrases and video clips. The sounds are WAV and the clips are AVI.
If it is needed, please let me know and I'll set up a torrent. Be advised that since it is from 1995, it is most likely that you will not be able to install it. However, all you need to do is browse the disc for all the goodies.
I've been trying to get hold of that CD set for a while now. I would be very interested in getting hold of this
I'll create a ISO CD ROM and upload to rapidshare tonight NZT :-)

They are voiced by none other than James Earl Jones himself!
Enjoy.
This would make for an awesome DVD Cover :-)

Their Palpatine mask is much better than the ROTS one too.
Too bloody right. The ROTS Palpatine had a flabby double chin! WTF?
Maybe he went on a diet just before Jedi
But yeah Lucas' creative crew did fudge things up design wise.
Stick to the original formula people.
You want real, heres real :-P
