I hear ya, sometimes it takes time to realize that you are actually single. I was with her 5 years so I still feel kind of “lost and empty”, I mean that in the less dramatic way but it illustrates the feeling that we all get in situations like this. As you said, time alone is a great thing but if yo are at peace with yourself, at the moment I’m still on shock because she left 3 weeks ago (we lived together) but oddly enough, I feel relative fine. Despite what i feel I know it will eventually fade away.

With only 9 weeks of 2015 left, and the current 2TB SSDs clocking in at USD750 at the cheaper end, I can’t see 4TB of SSD for $200 happening in the next two months 😃

SSDs will improve their technology and those hiccups will be ironed out; I remember back in 2010 I bought a massive-heavy 3.5’’ USB 2.0 2TB with an extra A/C adapter for $200 and I replaced it a few months ago with a slim-light 2.5’’ USB 3.0 2TB with no A/C requirement for $85. I’m sure we’ll see in a couple of years faster and more reliable SSDs with huge storage capacity under $100! I bet the transfer speeds will definitively benefit heavy video/audio work like restorations.

I guess SSDs will be cheaper and bigger in capacity in a few years, I won’t be surprise if by 2015 we start seeing 2.5’’ 4TB SSD drives for $200 or less!

I liked the trailer because is just a trailer, for those who want more plot/substance I suggest waiting for the movie premier. Also I'm sure that there will be one or two more trailers so hold your horses.

Someone said a few pages back that we shouldn't expect a massive breakthrough since that ended on ESB (for several reasons, I think) and I agree, a good honest homage to the OT (taking in consideration that these are very different times) with a tight script will work.

Also:
-NO Lucas involved
-A lot of the original cast.
-So far there is no impression of any ''Misa misa I'm so stupid I put my tongue in a podracer electric field'' moments or characters.
-Screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan
-JJ at least tries to make decent and coherent films.
-The PT sets the bar so low that we can almost assume that TFA is not among the 3 worst movies on the franchise.

For me the worst case scenario will be a ROTJ feeling which is not bad at all.

I'm all into the hype train since this is the first SW movie in 11 years and at this point we don't know if it will suck and we hope it doesn't, if it ends up sucking then I will hate it for the rest of my life but in the meantime... WHOOPEEE A NEW STAR WARS FILM!

Maybe the movie will be one on it's own that will set the base for the Disney run, I don't expect a true OT feeling since the OT was a product of it's time but at least I expect an attempt to pay respects to the OT. Also the script writers and the director are better than Lucas so at least it will be a more consistent film.

Worst case scenario: TFA will easily fall right above the PT, kinda sucky but entertaining .

Best case scenario: It will be better than RTOJ like Silverwook said.

My cousin used to say that and when he made up excuses no moment was the perfect moment, believe me that there won't be a perfect moment and all the moments are going to feel the bad moment so which is going to be the perfect moment? Next suicide attempt? next drunk/high session at work? next miserable day? You have to understand that if you don't seek help while having options then that makes you a little bit guilty of where you are now because you don't want to try a different way.

Anyway, I already said what I wanted to say and please don't take it the wrong way because I sincerely hope you get better, just don't forget that the ball in in your court and probably things won't change until you you are ready to make tough decisions and seek help.

 I understand all your fears about the job and the family but what trident says is true, we don't mean to tell you what to do but you must understand that

A- Your mental and physical health is THE MOST IMPORTANT thing in your life.

B- You need to do something about it because the pattern must be broke, a change is imperative.

Is not easy and there is a lot of fears around change but how do you pretend to enjoy and take care of your friends and family if you don't feel fine with yourself?. Nobody chooses to feel depressed or hopeless but you do have tools and options available to change that little by little.

Some things trident said may feel to raw but try to take them the best way possible, you have to take a first step out from that comfort zone of dealing with issues the way you do now.

Just as a side note, my older cousin (52) is currently on the first week of a four week long program for detox and recovery, he has issues with alcohol and cocaine and after four years of car/overdose accidents, paranoia attacks, family problems, issues at work etc, he understood that health is the 1st, 2nd and 3rd thing on the ''Important'' list. Please don't be my cousin who waited for the worse consequences to act, please seek help and I'm sure that everyone around you will support you 100%, including us. Seeking help does not necessarily  means that you will be away forever, it may only be for a little while or maybe just weekly meetings and you keep your regular life as it is, the sooner you act the better chances you have to work on the issue without disturbing your routine or going away.

Hi possessed, I don't know what else to add but please take it easy now, one day at the time. Maybe you can't afford counseling at the moment but at least talk to someone (friends, family, us, etc) to get it off your chest, we may not understand the specific way you feel or the exact path your life is right now but don't forget that we all suffered at some point in life and someway or another we can all help you trough these hard times. I send you a hug
