Would be great to have Wallace and Gromit The Wrong Trousers in HD with the original soundtrack

"In the original aring of the film; Gromit's birthday card plays "Happy Birthday to You" as it is associated with birthdays in Britain, Australia and North America. But when the film was released on DVD by Warner Home Video in 2000, and by Dreamworks Home Entertainment SKG in 2005, this was replaced with 'For He's a Jolly Good Fellow' to avoid copyright infringements. Also removed for the DVD (again for reasons of copyright) are two specific songs from the penguin's radio replaced with random Hammond organ music. The particular pieces removed are "Happy Talk" from the musical South Pacific and "(How Much Is) That Doggie in the Window?", along with Wallace's humming of it the subsequent morning. "Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Ole Oak Tree" was left intact though. In addition, Gromit's TV at breakfast no longer plays the Open University theme. However the original soundtrack can still be heard in the background of the commentary track of the DVD release. In the 2009 HD version of the film, Julian Nott's soundtrack appears to have been remixed or rerecorded."

There is a new remaster of this just coming out on bluray in the UK and Europe but unfortunately without the mono soundtrack.

Would be cool if someone put the mono soundtrack over this new video

Comparison between the Lowry remaster (2012 UK Blu-ray) and U.S. Blu-ray:

Info Wanted: Has anyone done any Unaltered Disney Classics preservations?
Time

Have there been any projects to preserve the theatrical cuts of disney films? The new dvds contain a few changes Lion King for example

Anyone know if the laserdiscs have the orginal versions?

Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast and Fantasia are also changed, although making a theatrical cut of Fantasia would be very difficult.

If the dagobah scene is included on the dvd, I think that should go back in.

Another cutscene is grievous killing and fighting jedi, that should be put back in if its available, since that would make him more menacing.

Also maybe the anakin/obiwan fight and the yoda/emperor fight shouldnt be intercut, some have said it ruins the tension of the anakin fight

maybe the noooooooooooo bit could be replaced with a vader scream

theres just some random off the top of my head ideas
