Hope Disney and Fox (who owns the first one) will get the message that so many fans have been saying over the years, we want the originals and put out new 4k scans on blu-rays and eventually Ultra HD in 10 years or whatever.  They seem to have gotten the message on what was wrong with the prequels, and are trying to make the fans happy with episode 7... hopefully they'll recognize the #1 way to make the older fans happy would be to put out the originals.  I also saw on lowry's reel the Abyss which has never made it past letterbox dvd, I'd be very excited to see a blu-ray of that film as well.

That's a great deal!  Well they have the 2nd disk of each of the separate dvds and it has the original versions... unfortunatly they look crappy by todays standards because current restoration methods weren't used (Lucas is the cheapest billionare alive)  I grew up with the pan and scan's but prefer the widescreen now.  Tho it looks like Adywan and Harmy have been making some interesting restored versions of these films (minus the irritating SE changes).

I’m a big fan of Ace Ventura and I was reading about the extended version… I love the deleted scenes I’ve watched online (and the dolphin trainer scene that was taken off the dvd for no apparent reason).  …But I can’t download it anywhere, there’s 2 torrents and there both dead (Like George Lucas’s soul).  If anyone could help me out with putting it on megaupload/mediafire or whatever I’d greatly appreciate it.  I love the work many of the fan editor’s do and eventually have some ideas for fan edit’s of my own to post on here (will be getting some powerful gear soon, my current computers crap).

Note: I know the fan edit rules I own a legit copy of it already…
