I agree the multiple dvds are troubling, I loved kill bill1 and I liked kill bill2.

To me it didn't feel like one long movie though, more like 2 seperate movies with some of the same characters, but the tone is completely different in 2 then it is in 1.

For the two disc set I think he's re-editing it into one movie, but not just by joining them at the middle. I think there is actual reorganizing of scenes all over the place.

for example you never see Bill in Vol1, though you do hear his voice from time to time. But he's all over Vol2.

I think in SE they should evenly distribute him across the 4 hours. That kind of stuff

havent seen KB vol2 yet, but id say that that sounds reasonable rebel.

I finally watched v1 and I loved it. Gotta see v2 now and I think I may try for the big screen. Is it worth it? I don't want to post this question in the KBv2 thread as I'm afraid I may read some spoilers.

Nah, she doesn't really want to see it. She didn't watch Vol 1 with me either. She doesn't understand my fascination with Samurai and swordplay flicks.

Actually, Tarantino has said that he would like to produce a sequel in ~15 years, when Vernita Green's daughter Nikki is old enough to exact her revenge on The Bride, and has even discussed shooting footage for it right now.
