Has anyone considered preserving all the promotions that Borat has been doing? I have been able to find Leno, Letterman, Conan and the Daily Show, but I know he’s done others.

Also has anyone considered preserving the Borat clips from the UK version of Da Ali G Show? As far as I know, they have not been legitimately released. I’ve seen them on YouTube but would like to have them in better quality.

These DVDs feature the original Borat sketches from Da Ali G Show. I know the latter two are Region 2, but surely you can get around that?

There was a short bit he did at the beginning of an SNL episode recently. I think it's S32E04 and it's the one that features Hugh Laurie as host. That's actually what made me decide to see the movie.

EDIT: He also did a funny spot on Hannity & Colmes, which is on YouTube, I believe, though the quality can't be very good.

How about the press conference he did in which he denies rumors made by Uzbekistan, and invites OJ Simpson, Mel Gibsons, and Premiere Bush to watch his moviefilm?

the speech is on ali g season 2. i have aiii, bling bling and i believe a third SBC disc somewhere. I also have a couple of discs i grabbed a while back called borat programme 1 and 2. can't remember what's on them. preserving all those tv appearances would be great. maybe the people that upped the clips on to youtube could be contacted to help out.

Is it? I borrowed the discs (US Seasons one and two, as I'm in the US and A) from a friend and briefly scanned them and couldn't find the Cambridge skit anywhere.....

MTV Making the Movie - my copy has an audio/video glitch near the beginning. On the lookout for a better copy

I'm looking for anything I don't have, especially Guide to Cambridge, Guide to Dog Shows and Guide to Method Acting, plus promo clips from Hannity and Colmes, CNN, Fox and Friends, etc. There's a ton of stuff on YouTube but so far I've been unsuccessful at contacting the uploaders. This stuff needs to be preserved in high quality.

Any help would be much appreciated!

i'm 99.9% sure the commencement speech is on the season 2 discs, but i'll dig out my dvd's and check. i'll look through all my SBC stuff to see if i have the clips you're looking for. i'm glad you're on this, cuz i was thinking the same thing, but i'm in the middle of a move and i'm too lazy right now to do this!

Yes the commencement speech is on the Season 2 disc... but it's Ali G, not Borat, and it's at Harvard not Cambridge... That's not what I'm looking for.

Great success! I have locate the clip of Borat at Cambridge.

Bad news, it's in crappy RealVideo format

It's from the third episode of the UK Ali G Show if that helps us find a better quality version.......

The other bad news is that he tends to do the same jokes quite a bit on these interviews -- the whole, "Premiere Bush and his father Barbara" schtick.

any movement on this? i found my borat programme 1 and 2 disc, and it just appears to be a collection of clips from the uk and us series, i will look it over better when i get back from vacations. high five.

I've got a preview DVD that was a freebie in my local music store. It has the US theatrical trailer... well I assume it's the US one as the one I've seen is different. It also contains the first 4 minutes of the film and 5 deleted scenes. It's a letterboxed PAL disc with high-bitrate video of around 8-9Mb/s (the audio is 192kb/s). All up the disc runs for 11mins 43secs straight, i.e. there is no menu.

Here is the list of deleted scenes (with descriptive names) in no particular order:
* Borat asking about cheese in a supermarket
* Borat gets pulled over by the Dallas Police
* Borat at an animal shelter trying to get a dog
* Borat gets arrested for trying to cross the Mexico/US border
* Borat tells a doctor about the sexual diseases he's had

So, is this disc of any use to anyone? I suppose since it's only around 12mins I could rip it and upload it somewhere? I know that if the eventual DVD doesn't have these scenes (which is unlikely, but still...) then I'll be happy for having picked this freebie up.
