Help: looking for... documentaries for Poltergeist

I was wondering if anyone has rare documentaries (or even documentaries!) of the Poltergeist films, especially the first one.

My g/f is a massive fan of the first and she’s never seen any behind the scenes featrurettes on these films. Would be cool to have some USA ones etc.

I have the E! THS on poltergeist, i think it runs for about 2 hours including commercial breaks. It covers the whole poltergeist series, including the tv series. If you want i can look it up and upload to usenet or torrent it. I recorded it from a digital broadcast, quality is good.

If I remember correctly Ash595 has a short featurette, which might be sourced from the laserdisc. In any case it would be great to see the Deluxe LD's content and the E! THS special compiled onto a nice bonus disc for Poltergeist.

EDIT:
However, there is a Special Edition 2-Disc DVD set planned for its 25th anniversary next year. Unfortunately there's no word on extras yet.

the LD has a featurette (7 minutes) about the making of Poltergeist, two trailers and a still galery.

Wow. This thread is OLD.

I don't know where you'd find the disc... i don't even know if there is a disc per se. As I said long ago, the best thing to do would be compile it all onto a supplemental disc (with nothing overlapping on the barebones so-called 'special edition'). Like so:

* E! True Hollywood Story Documentary (2hrs approx)
* "Making of" Featurette (7mins, from LD)
* 2 Trailers (from LD)
* Stills Gallery (from LD)

I want the Extended Laserdiscs version of Poltergiest II - The Other Side - it has some deleted footage of the Christian evil dude tuaniting the family!
