Hey guys, long time lurker here. Decided to try a post for once. I recently got a capture device and thought I would try doing Star Wars as my first project.
so far so good. I also obtained a copy of the Definitive Ed LD mp4s this week and I decided to compare with mine. Maybe you'll enjoy this. Sorry if this has been done to death already but I thought this was cool.
on the left is the Definitive LD transfer that I found, and on the right are my SE Stereo Extended Play NTSC LDs

Padawan LearnerWelcome to posting here.....
What kind of setup did you use for transfer? Your pictures aren't as fuzzy as the comparison shots....are you doing any filtering or is that just straight video transfer?
Thanks for the pics....always cool to see someone take an interest in Star Wars LD transfers.
Cheers!!!!

I have a Pioneer DVL-909 LD player with S-video out -> Pinnacle Dazzle USB capture device. just used default settings. I'm still new to this and this is my test run. I actually just took those screenshots a couple minutes ago as the last disc is still recording. I love the one with the Falcon entering the death star.
Thanks for the welcome.

<..>It would be of interest to know exactly what LD you're capturing. If it's the Special Widecreen Edition, is it the Mitsubishi or Technidisc pressing?
