Padawan LearnerI always thought the difference in fighting styles between the two trilogies was obvious. One group of movies were made in the late 70s to early 80s, the other group of movies were not.
Trying to explain away the differences with anything other than that sounds like comic book nerd bickering, and not the cool kind.

Its easy to do one set of movies were good oot 77-83
The other movies were bad 99-2005 and were nothing but a cross between a videogame cutscene and action figures toy sales promotion.
