Don't anyone tell those guys what's in the box at the end of The Usual Suspects....

Or was that The Room?

I thought that was Fight Club. Or the The Sixth Sense.

You will not. None of us will, except for a very old and dying Ziggy Stardust who will watch it through teary eyes as he remembers us all.

Oh, I didn't realize we could do that!

Here're mine:

  1. Sci-Fi
  2. Action flicks
  3. Adventure Movies
  4. Comedies
  5. Spoofs

That's pretty good.

IT'S MY TRILOGY, AND I WANT IT NOW!

Ugh, I just wrote a 3-page paper about the depiction of posthumanism in that movie.  About 75% of it was utter bullshit, which is admittedly lower than my usual bullshit percentage for school papers.

Oh, I very much like the movie.  I just didn't know what the hell to talk about in the paper, so it's mostly BS.

Ahh. The joys of film school. And I bet they probably don't know what you're talking about anyway. Anytime I mention THX I get the eye roll or what's that or you're crazy. The last one I get virtually every day on the hour.

The good thing is, it's for a Posthumanism in Science Fiction (actual class title is much longer and clunkier) class, so I don't get the eye-roll when I mention THX.  But I'm willing to bet that my prof has a better grasp on the subject, though, being that he wrote the book...and several other books about the same subject...

I'm starting film school this fall, and I'll be 45 in August. It's never too late to follow your dream.

GO FOR IT!

I wanted to do it for years... I'm starting with a Documentary Filmmaking Certificate program.

Now on the topic, I will have to add the original "Dirty Harry" to my list.

Also "Broadway Danny Rose", "The Exorcist III", "Superman: The Movie" and "A Christmas Story".

The Space Battleship Yamato film series 1-5.  From the restored region 2 bandai masters.  Not the bad voyager entertainment with burned in subtitles.  Only problem with the region 2 is lack of english subs and lack of them online except for 1 of the films and very bad engrishy subs at that.

The original Godzilla and its Color remake both without a decent blu ray release or DVD.
