Let me ressucitate this old off-topic thread so I can express my joy, as I have finally found the pizza stone I was looking for. I was told I could wash it with this odorless neutral liquid soap, don't know how those are called in english, but I rather not do it, as I've been told by fellow posters over here. I might use it this week... I'm positively sure it'll make NO difference whatsoever to the pizza's taste, but it's like a placebo, right? I might enjoy the pizza better if I know it was made on my new pizza stone.

We got talking about pizza stones in a thread totally unrelated to Pizza stones. In another thread we got talking about Long bridges, so we made the Long bridge club, where you can talk about anything you want without fear of going off topic, and you can say anything you want too, no matter how random. So, welcome to the Long Bridge club Nanner.
Speaking of holidays, I am planning on going on one soon. I wanted to go to Turkey and float in the dead sea but then a bomb went oiff and killed some tourists so my wife's parents are moaning at her not to go, then she decided she wanted to go to Israel, which I am down with but from a bomb danger point of view it's no better than Turkey (worse infact). So, any ideas? I live in England and I've done the whole of mainland Europe so I'm looking for somewhere a bit different for the next adventure.

And speaking of random, does anyone have a photo of a cut tree branch so that you can see the rings inside? It needs to be pretty hi res and also the quality of the wood needs to be nice, so no photos of haggard old trees.

It's illegal to own a monkey or any non-domestic animal without a proper authorization, and belive me you won't be able to get one.
