Would you OK this screen capture for the blu-ray?

kenkraly2007 said:

None that's a good screen capture I like it but add episode 4 a new hope to the title.

Now do you want to know why Lucasfilm will not approve that screen capture?

Thanks for the info none and I do think the blu-rays will indeed be fixed.

I was going to quote none's memorable diatribe as "post-of-the-year", but kenkraly's response surely must win that honor!

Ok so acting as GL you've made the decision to revise this frame:

To something like this:

So for the threads topic, the colors of the text is different, and the color changes which were made affected the star field background.  This might have been done to make the crawls more consistant, since at one point there was some variation between the 6 films:

Now if this was a preservation dedicated thread, the A New Hope would make this change unacceptable.

Ok here's another frame to consider, this time you get to choose from three images: (which in your gut, seems the most Star Wars like?)

?????

Lazy hotlinking is lazy.

I do think the colours (spell it right god damn it) ;) will be fixed for blu-ray even with all evidence to the contrary.

xhonzi, you need to stop using DVDActive images, or rehost them yourself.

Oh.  Whoops.  That's what I get for scrolling through a thread quickly without really looking at who posts what.

My bad.

To be frank, I don't think the bluish tint would be such a problem if the picture looked brighter and the lighstabers had their proper hue. Though we might consider that Luke's Emperor scream in The Empire Strikes Back was an deliberate artistic decision, but did it make it to the 2004 DVDs?

What baffles me is Episode I's pink, how did that happen?
