That's the problem I have with most file sharing sites right now. So many of them are flaky or slow. Rapidshare wouldn't even let me upload the file until I created an account.
I can't seem to get Mediafire to work so I'll try sendspace and depositfiles.
Thank you, sendspace is much better and faster, I got them.

So i have all the frames put into the movie using tmpgenc video mastering works 5 and all of it will work perfectly. Only problem i'm having is a very slight color change on the rendered video. Must be what Chewtobacca was talking about with the YUV? I'm just wondering what my settings should be.
Rate control VBR average bitrate, CBR constant bitrate, VBR constant quality.
Then there's the Entropy coding CABAC and CAVLC
I'm usng level 4.1 and of course AVC x264 encoder
Thanks again for the frames Space Kaijuu

No. I was talking about the fact that it's not necessary to convert the Blu-ray from YUV to RGB and back for the sake of adding a few frames.
A slight color change might be a result of encoding with Rec.601 rather than Rec.709 coefficients, which are required for HD, but I don't use the program you're using, nor would I, so I can't give you any advice about it.

What do you use exactly, Chewtobacca, and do you use it ?

He uses AviSynth and i would use it but i just dont understand it.
That and it crashes on the computer i was going to try it on.

sorry, I meant "how do you use it ?"

There are a couple of frame replacements in avisynth. If I can ever get one of them to work, I'll post a script if someone else doesn't beat me to it.

Personnaly, I would have re-encoded the whole film in m2ts then re-insert it in the BR structure. I never tryed, so don't take what I'm saying for granted.

Better Grumpy than DopeyAn ideal editor would be one that only re-encodes between GOP boundaries and leaves the remainder of the stream untouched. Apparently VideoReDo TVSuite H.264 can do this, but I've never used it.
With AviSynth, I have had problems with reading h.264, specifically with the frame accuracy of source filters. FFMPEGSource2 gives me dupe frames on some streams, DGAVDec is very slow, more accurate but still serves the wrong frames sometimes (and is no longer supported by its author).

FFMPEGSource2 is good only for progressive AVC. Was your source interlaced? Putting Assumefps(24000,1001) after FFMS2() in your script can help correct the framerate, but I doubt it helps with dupe frames. (I've never had it give me dupes though.)
EDIT: I assume you demuxed to MKV first. FFMS2() has problems with elementary streams. This is what I do.
LoadPlugin("C:\Program Files (x86)\Haali\MatroskaSplitter\avss.dll")
FFMS2()
DGAVCDec is no longer supported, but its author is still actively working on DGIndexNV, which I highly recommend. If you don't have an NVIDIA card, you might look at DGAVCDecDI if you haven't tried it already.

Better Grumpy than DopeyThe problematic stream was the Usenet release sourced from the uncensored French HDTV broadcast. Not interlaced, 25fps progressive.
I knew about DGindexNV but I don't have an Nvidia card, hadn't come across DGAVCDecDI before - thanks for that.

You're welcome. See my edit above. It might or might not help.

Better Grumpy than DopeyI used FFMS2 on the original MKV; DGAVCIndex on the demuxed h.264 stream.

Dark Jedi KnightSo are we pretty sure there are no more censored spots that need fixing? thanks a lot for the frames SK and we are ready to add them back into the BD file but have not started yet, wanted to make sure there are no more that need fixing first, but if you are certain you have gotten all frames then we are good to go, this should be a real easy and fast project for us finally.
Thanks again SK for the frames.

If there are any other edits, they aren't obvious or documented anywhere. I went through the French version looking for things that could, reasonably or unreasonably, be edited and couldn't find any other differences but those single-frame gags can be sneaky. Still, all three of these changes have been previously proven and documented. The rumored bathroom wall phone number has never been actually been proven and even if it was in the theatrical release, it was removed prior to the version used for the French HDTV transfer.

Do the edits I made to remove the censoring look good? I reviewed them on a couple of different displays but I want to make sure there isn't anything I might still need to correct.

Any updates on getting a few decent-quality screen caps of the Rigid Tools poster from the Trail Mix Up short? I tried reconstructing it from the two different versions I found but it didn't work all that well. There's too much of a difference in quality. If I have a few different frames from the same source, I could reconstruct that part of the background image and then edit it into the censored version.

I am ready for the trials! My LD collection is still behind a pile of stuff due to home improvements which are semi stalled. I'll try to dig them out if things don't get on back soon. I'm tired of my house looking like a Hoarders audition. ;)
Came across an interview with Charles Fleischer, in which the censored stuff is mentioned.
