Where is this image of Yoda from?

It's driving me nuts, where did this picture of Yoda originate? I've seen it everywhere!

Hmm, maybe. It's such a common image on Star Wars humor sites that I thought its origin would be well known.

Also, is that a wig on his head?

A bunch of guys got a tour of LFL archives years ago and they snapped some pictures.  And even though the handled a bunch of the props, I believe they found Yoda as pictured here.

The Eborsisk, to be precise.

God doesn't think in terms of black or white - or even shades of gray - but in big, bright, bold hues of blue and orange.
