We all love to quote Star Wars as it has many great lines.
When have you used them in conversation or situations where it is funny or appropriate (or not appropriate).
As was at work on a RAAF base and some pilot came into my section wondering around. Looking in offices and such. I said to him "Can I help you?"
He said "I'm looking for someone"
I replied with "Found someone you have I would say hmmm?" In the Yoda voice. Cracked up all my work mates. Can't remember the reaction of the pilot.
While I was watching Star Trek with a mate Kirk got into the elevator and said "Level 5"
Me and my mate in sync turned to each other and said "Detention block AA 23." Laughed for about 5 minutes straight.
My mate was trying to be romantic with his wife by holding hands. She pulled her hands away and said "My hands are dirty" with the obvious reply "My hands are dirty too what are you afraid of?"
I know there are better ones out there c'mon when have you used a line to great effect

A girl I was seeing once said to me "look at the size of that thing!" and I said "Cut the chatter Red Two." We both laughed and then, ahem, continued.
My friends and I quote SW all the time, but I can't think of a better instance.

Dude that so TOTALLY beats mine.
I've had fights with girls where I've used "Did you think I'd leave without giving you a goodbye kiss?"
I also once pulled a "I love you." "I know." although it didn't go over as well as I imagined it would.

Better a bad bomb than a bombadAnd I've used "I have been known to make mistakes... ... from time to time." so many times I sometimes forget I'm quoting 3PO.

See You, Space Cowboy...I can use "I have a bad feeling about this..." almost anywhere, given that I have a reputation for being a pessimist. Both good and bad.

When I have something something somebody wants I always say "You...want...THIS...don't you??"
I always say "Everything that has transpired has done so according to my design!!!"
"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won't last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you'll be able to project it on a 20' by 40' screen with perfect quality. I think it's the director's prerogative, not the studio's to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

When I started an electronics course I didn't end up finishing, one time I had to make a circuit on a test bed with a partner.
I ended up saying "No this one goes here; that one goes there."

One I use regularly with my mate is when I leave his house I start my car and he asks
"you got her warmed?"
I reply "Yeah she's comin' up."
That one is probably one of my favourite ones.

A victim of Lucasfilm's desire to give every freaking background character a backstory. For some reason, it's pre-programmed into my brain to reply "I know" every time a girl says "I love you" but I add a smile so she knows I'm just kidding and not being a jerk.
I've also used "sorry sweetheart, I haven't got time for anything else" before. In fact, most of my chat up lines come from Han Solo.

For years when I lived at home, there was a yearly bargaining session between me and my mom about which top to put on the Christmas tree. She had this spike-looking kind of thing whereas I wanted the classic star top. Every year we'd go through this..."You let me have mine this year and I'll let you have yours next year...".
Eventually, my sister got married, moved out, had kids. The first Christmas after I moved out, my parents ask me to go over to help set up the tree (they're in their 60's and don't have the strength to hoist a tree up). Mom is all proud of herself because now she can have the tree top she wants and no one can argue with her - dad never really cared either way.
As she's standing there gloating, dad says "Well, y'know, Geoffrey (the younger of my sister's boys, aka one of my mom's grandsons) said that he likes the star top on the tree." Mom shoots me a dirty look, as if I had something to do with it.
I just smile and say "The Force can have a strong influence on the weak mind."

I'm rather fond of quoting the Emperor, my particular favourites being "UNNN-LIMITED... POWWWWERRRRR!!!!" and, of course, "You want this... don't you?" (usually directed at my wife while I point to my groin... classy, I know).

Doesn't know how to handle his new-found fameMy better half and I quote Star Wars (and other favorite movies) so much it's difficult to think of one specific instance.
But I have a good one, I think. One time I was giving some flight instruction to a friend in a small twin engine plane. On takeoff, as he added power, he said "Punch it, Chewie!" To which I immediately (almost robotically) responded with an imitation wookiee growl. I have to confess that I've since "borrowed" it from him and use it periodically myself now.

of Earth. My ungeeky boss likes to say "It's a trap" to my geeky workmate and me all of the time. We think it's nice that he's trying so hard. I printed out and gave him a paper Ackbar mask for Christmas.
I find the opportunity to use [Vader] Impressive. Most impressive. But! You're not a Jedi, yet![/Vader] from time to time.
I have a cousin with which I rarely communicate... but I always start my letters/e-mails/facebook pokes with: "You slimy, double-crossing, no-good swindler"
And I say "Who's scruffy looking" when my wife reminds me I need a haircut.

Lately, I'm more likely to quote from Indiana Jones than Star Wars. Star Wars is so cliché.

Slayer of DeaditesOh definitely on several occasions! One occasion was when my friend just managed to do something that was really complicated and was acting insanely happy about it. I said "Don't get cocky, kid." However, my friend is not familiar with the word "cocky," so he was visibly perturbed... I think you get the picture.
Of course, I've used "I have a bad feeling about this." many times.
