When Quoting Images code switches to html

Here are the images Ringwraith sent me, along with corresponding captures from my tapes (Some are lossy JPGs, so let's disregard compression related issues for now):

Ringwraith:

PAL VHS:

Ringwraith:

PAL VHS:

It appears to me that the VHS tapes could benefit from some mild brightening, maybe some slight noiserduction (but NOT too much).

Just an example. Using simple editor, as I find it easier to navigate.

You might be moving too fast.  Sometimes it takes a bit before the advanced editor kicks in.

Simple editor, Frink. I can't stand how the advanced editor works, it's generally too weird for me. I wasn't even able to get out the quote box last time I tried it, it just kept creating more and more and you get the idea I'm an imbecile.

Sorry, I thought you meant you were switching to simple editor.

No, I usually work in the simple one. This problem pops up on occasion.

Have you tried just going back and quoting again?

RE: When Quoting Images code switches to html

Just tested it with another post, and it did the same...

Happens SOMETIMES to me. I think it depends on if the poster was using the advanced editor to post the image. How about Frink, you post an image using advanced, and bkev, you post an image using standard and I'll try quoting each.

Well, there goes that idea. Can you try a link, I've had problems with that.

Maybe it only happens when you quote Simpsons gifs.

Hmm, I can understand if its been resized, makes sense. But I've had URL links go crazy, and bkev has images that weren't resized...

We'll have to ask Sluggo if he resized it, because I just took it from a quote and from his original post.

Or the management could just answer the question to the best of their abilities ;-)

Indeed, I forgot to mention links. Sometimes even just quote code gets all strange...

Top five, eh?

Alright then.  My current top 5 as of now, in no particular order:
<ul>
<li>Blade Runner (Final or Director's Cut)</li>
<li>The Good, the Bad and the Ugly</li>
<li>Apocalypse Now (Theatrical; NOT the "redux" version)</li>
<li>The Usual Suspects</li>
<li>Abre los Ojos (aka Open Your Eyes - remade as the inferior Vanilla Sky)</li>
</ul>

This will likely change by the end of the day, and again by the time I go to bed, and again when I wake up in the morning ...

Anyway, honorable mentions that often make it into my top 5, but didn't quite make it today:

Alien
Almost Famous
(Director's Cut)
Blue Velvet
City of God

Close Encounters of the Third Kind (Theatrical or Director's Cut; NOT Special Edition)
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
The Fall
The Fountain
Groundhog Day
The Iron Giant
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
Let the Right One In

MASH
Moon
Pan's Labyrinth
Raiders of the Lost Ark
The Road
Six-String Samurai
(not so much a "best" as a "favorite," if that makes sense)
Thank You for Smoking
There Will Be Blood

Wow, that list became longer than I thought it would.  Sorry about that.

now here's an odd case where it only did it for HALF the post... ?

I just figured your quick comments were the result of constant email notifications. Curious as to How Frink Works.
