But friends here are...just friends. What's the point? Nevertheless, I've got some of you on my friend list, but just because I don't doesn't mean I don't like you. It might simply serve as a quick way to send a PM to someone with whom you frequently speak.

Ointment FlyYes, the PM thing is the only reason I can see to use it. Because of course you can't merely click on a person's name and send them a PM that way, that would make too much sense.
I used to keep my friend list updated but haven't bothered in a while. Also I hate all of you.

While that brings a warm feeling to my curmudgeonly side (though much less so if nobody had friended me... :'[) I've now added some of you fine people. And if I were more motivated, I'd wander to the suggestion forum to suggest private message alerts everytime someone adds you as a friend. Just to add to that feeling of Christmas.
