What's in your trash can?

This is my trash can.

This is a DVD released in 2004, wrongfully titled "The Empire Strikes Back." Someone named Harmy just gave me a copy of the real movie. I think someone must have put a similar but different film in the wrong DVD box before I bought it.

That's a better place for it. Alert my local garbageman to prepare for its arrival.

Now, this one was really strange. I swear the box said "Star Wars," but there were dinosaurs everywhere. And cartoon robots smackin' each other around. What a crock of shit.

I could find no better place in my home for this accursed plastic circle.

Now I'm really pissed off. If the first two weren't enough, this DVD was in the "Return of the Jedi" box. But when I put it in I saw some fucked up cartoon music video. I don't know what crazy 90's CGI movie that was, but it wasn't no "Jedi."

Strange that all three Star Wars DVDs I bought had the wrong movie in them.

How many people here are familiar with the term "circlejerk"?

I still think an organised mass send back to Lucas would be a better way of registering your annoyance should the blu-rays be more of the same.

Sticking them in the bin just lays down more plastic mulch in a landfill, sending them to Lucas makes him have to send them to a landfill (well not him personally but you get the general idea).

I'm annoyed that you're throwing away perfectly good amaray cases.

I have no intention of buying the blurays. It makes no sense to buy them if you don't want them, unless you just want it for the supplemental discs and not the movies themselves.

You know of the rebellion against the Empire?

My dilemma as well.

How could you throw those DVDs into the trash, you MONSTER!

...

You could have recycled them.

God doesn't think in terms of black or white - or even shades of gray - but in big, bright, bold hues of blue and orange.

I wouldn't want to inflict them on some future product of different kind.
