I have the perfect idea:
Instead of having the shirt say just "Han shot first," we could use this fitting Han Solo quote from Chapter 6 of the book Han Solo at Stars' End. At one point in the chapter, Han says: "I happen to like to shoot first, Rekkon. As opposed to shooting second." This would work perfect on a shirt promoting this site. I mean, maybe on the front, it could say that, along with an OT.com logo. And on the back, it could say "Han shot first," or something like that.

I like the quote, but then there's the question of getting permission to use it. Probably wouldn't be cheap.

It's also not that well known. I think "Han Shot First" is nice and simple and easy. If you're wearing a shirt in front of a lay fan (who are our bread and butter, since they really don't know much better and need to be taught), they might see the quote and the citation and wonder what the heck and not give a rat's ass. You see "Han Shot First," it automatically reeks of Star Wars. No question whatsoever.

Even my in-laws understood my Han Shot First t-shirt. Lay people definitely get it.
I'm still serious about my underwear idea. Lay people aren't usually the target of such sales. Well, maybe they are, but in a different usage of the word.

Hence why I think "Han Shot First" is much better than using that whole quote. One of the key phrases in marketing is KISS - "Keep It Short and Sweet," or my preferred way to remember it, "Keep It Simple, Stupid."

That quote suggested by he whose name we shall not speak was a stupid idea for 2 reasons: 1, it's a convoluted and obscure quote from an E.U Novel, and 2, it came from the mind of he whose name we shall not speak (hereby known as HWNWSNS) and therefore should not be used on merchandise for this site. Can you imagine that - merchandise for ot.com emblazoned with a quote suggested by HWNWSNS? A disgusting thought.
