So what are the non-silly puzzles like? And why do you say it is more adult?

San Andreas is proof that "adult" can go overboard even in a good game.

By adult I meant a deeper storyline, and by non-silly puzzles I meant ones that took some thought but weren't outrageously time-consuming.

But its not as bad as San Andreas, "damn" and "bastard" are used sometimes, but its tastefully done.

Ah.

I know what you mean by outrageously time consuming. Remember the mirror puzzle in Wind Wakers last dungeon?

It doesn't take as long the second time through.

Weren't you in your pajama's the second time through?

Actually, I think I died somehow, right before solving the puzzle. Or maybe I did it for a friend.


I never finished the game in pajama mode.

Okay, now that I've played Katamari Damacy a while, I can say that rolling a sticky ball around to pick up random objects is quite enjoyable.

Its kind of on the wierd side, but I've come to expect that from imported japanese games.

If you've got 20 bucks to spend, go pick up a copy.

BG&E is awesome. I stood on top of the lighthouse for a while just watching the sun rise and set.

It's a short game, 5 or 6 sittings will do it (if you play 2 hours at a time). The controls aren't too tight, but the game mechanics aren't too demanding, control-wise. It's just a mesmerizing, enveloping game with worthwhile exploration and awesome execution. Highly recommended.

The music and voice acting are great too.

Oh.. that sounds fun. I might check it out if I ever beat Pikmin and Sims 2. And metroid prime 2.
Edit-- i think "get tired of" is more acurate for Sims two, since it is not possible to beat it.

Congrads on getting the shoud-have-been-runner-up-second-to-Kotor Game of the Year!!!!

Wind Waker is a lot of fun, and does many things better than OoT, but let's face it: Kotor Rules!

WHAT ABOUT KOTOR 2 ???

Kotor 2 = the shiznit.

MAKES ME WANT TO BUY AN XBOX.

The Halo's and Kotors alone should be worth the cost of them + an Xbox.

I'll probably pick it up this weekend, though when I cant say. I am going to play Halo2 over a Lan with a friend Friday afternoon.

well hello all....
i would love to go off on all my latest video game rants right about now... lol

but i think i will show you what i have stumbled across since then..
i check most of this thread and havent seen anyone post the trailer for the up and coming Episode 3 game...
so first some screenshots...







next if you have played any previous Star Wars games you will notice that they tend to follow the events of the movie to a T...
so therefore i will just point out some possible spoiler material which they have included in the trailer..

again possible SPOILER WARNING!!


- we see anakin and dooku dueling in front of Palpatine in his signature emporor's chair
- we also see anakin using force lighting against fellow jedi Mace Windu (could anakin have killed mace?)
- we see both anakin and obi wan fighting what appears to be General Grevious

so pretty much im sticking to the belief that Anakin is most definatly responsible for the death of mace...
lol looks like Mace aint such a bad mutha f**ka after all...
hehehe
