Transformers: A good Movie Edit?

I'm not the guy to do this, but I've had this idea recently.

  • There's about 7 hours of Michael Bay Transformers.
  • You could replace all of the lines of the robots and not have to worry too much about lip synch
  • You could use dialogue (perhaps) from the ~100 episodes

Therefore:

  • You could basically make any movie you wanted with any plot you like and you could get rid of all of the human characters and just focus on the robots

However, I haven't seen the Dark of the Moon and I only watched Revenge of the Fallen once through one half closed eye.

But what do you think?  Possible?

"Yeah, well, George says a lot of things..." a young 1997 xhonzi on RASSM

"They're my movies." -George Lucas. 19 people won oscars for their work on Star Wars (1977) and George Lucas wasn't one of them.

HELL YEAH IT'S POSSIBLE!!

That's actually a really good idea. You could make a three hour epic with a shit-ton of fighting robots.

...and shia of course...

"The only decision made here today was one of cowardice. They’ve placed the burden of this war on the shoulders of one man and thus appointed a dictator. No honest man pines for supreme authority. All good men know of their own fallibility." -what Mace Windu should have said in Episode II-

Quick thought.

Intro with Cybertron and description of the battle between Autobots and Decepticons.

Show Decepticons come to earth for some reason.

Optimus Prime comes to stop him.

No Shia.

Taking dialogue from the tv series wouldn't fix Bayformers would it? Also, consider the amount of work that would have to go into reverse engineering the sound so there was no sfx or dialogue behind the lines from the show.  Unless, of course, there's a surround mix that I'm unaware of.

 What's wrong with bayformers?

1. Dialogue, to a degree.

2. Focus on stupid human characters

3. Bizarre plot twists that can't be followed and don't make any sense.

What else?

I think you could fix the 3 above problems, if you were dedicated to the cause in an Adywan kind of way.

You forgot to mention all the terrible robot action scenes. Good luck fixing that.

And all that robot full-frontal nudity.  That's gotta go.

I sold my 2 DVD's some times ago, and I bought something else without any robot or technology crap. I think that's a better idea.

... And Sluggo, don't call me neurotic again !
