Three Kings colour correction

Goal:

Take the bluray and run it through a digital bleach bypass then tinker scene by scene to remove the awful teal and orange Warner Bros makeover.

Source: retail bluray

Destination: bd25

is that even possible on some of the more extreme changes done to the blu-ray?

Time will tell, it looks like the OCN scanned without the bypass but with a teal and orange bias, I have the HDTV on the way to compare also

Great project. I'll put the BD25 with the USA Blu-ray release. Be sure not to degrain it or use EE.

Go for HD or GTFO.

Nice. What about subtitles? Preferrably English SDH.

Go for HD or GTFO.

Yep SDH from the BD

Found a HDTV version 1080i but low detail, if correct I went too far on the bleach bypass

I like the HDTV coloring.

Same here, the blue sky in the hdtv is so much better then the blu-ray.

I am aiming for the HDTV now, but not "colour like" spot on as I don't remember it as looking exactly like that, more of that as a start

I also like in the hdtv you see more his jacket and their faces. Blu has some crush i think.
