The differences in clones and sith are so negligible to be almost unworthy of mention.
I disagree. Though the difference in ROTS is negligible, I'd be interested in the Attack of the Clones theatrical cut. I can't stand the added dialog in the DVD version after Anakin kills the sandpeople. Although, an even better find for me would be the AOTC IMAX Cut. If anyone has the IMAX cut, I'm very interested. The cuts it has made the movie better in my opinion.

Thank you so much for the Theater Performance discs, Video Collector/Fritz!! Received them yesterday. :) Haven't gone through them completely yet. Mostly studied the parts with the alien subs in Jedi, as I'm working on the subtitle-script for dark_jedi's project. It proved to be quite a lot of differences in terms of timings and positioning of the subs to what I earlier had in my script. Very nice to have as a reference for the Jedi-subs.
Even though I live in PAL-land, I'm not used to see these films with PAL-speedup, so the audio sounded really weird to me, but I must say that I was actually surprised of how good the picture quality of Empire was in, very nice! :) It's tinted red in some scenes as you've already seen and green in other places, but you guys will like this one, I know I did. Thank you so much for sharing these gems!
We want you to be aware that we have no plans—now or in the future—to restore the earlier versions.
Sincerely, Lynne Hale publicity@lucasfilm.com

Slayer of DeaditesGreat to hear the good news, msycamore! At last, we have accurate subtitles for ROTJ. Also, thank you Fritz for sharing these treasures with us. They should prove a great asset in the future. Like Dark Jedi, can't wait to see them myself!

Notes on Audience Participation
Star Wars - 70mm - Audio Recording by L. Mayer
Below are some notes of none-movie sounds heard in this recording. There's sever limitations to getting a sense of an audience from just an audio recording. Can't tell if people are sleeping or completely engrossed in the story. But from the non-movie noises, there is a wide variety of people in this audience. Some young kids, couple teenagers, a few women stand out from the random voices.
So can do some cough analysis, generally coughs were kept out of critical moments of the film. People kept the coughs away from dialog or hid them in music crashes.
The laughs from this recording are the best place to hear people getting what's happening on screen. In the comment descriptions added the notation of which lines were GL and which were part of the dialog enhancement by Gloria Katz and Williard Huyck. Many of their additions gathered guffaws, but GL's dialog got some as well. And it's not just dialog. The special fx's get laughs (chess table) the last minute additions (the mouse droid) and edit changes (3po in the wires) which really clicked with this audience. and it's a credit to GL and Burtt that people from early on to later in the film identify with R2. From him being kicked and bickering with 3po to getting hit in the Death Star attack, people responded to the character in this recording.
00:04:40 - quiet yell
00:09:50 - mic adjustment and some speaking
00:10:00 - R2 comments get some giggles - The interaction between R2 and 3po gets a few giggles. The 3po kick seems to lighten the mood.
00:11:50 - coughing
00:12:30 - speaking?
00:23:50 - shifting
00:32:15 - coughing
00:38:15 - Vader's choking of Motti get a few guffaws from what sounds to be an adolescent male. (George Lucas dialog)
00:38:25 - Then a few more comments when Tarkin steps in.
00:54:30 - Excited talk after the escape and hyperspace jump, during shot of Death Star.
00:57:20 - Responding to "Don't everyone thank me at once" line or the chess table. (George Lucas dialog) laughter to one of the chess moves.
00:58:00 - Laugh at the 'Let the wookie win' line. (Gloria Katz / Willard Huyck dialog addition)
01:06:10 - Outburst.
01:07:40 - Outburst kid.
01:09:25 - Laugh "I can imagine quite a bit" (Gloria Katz / Willard Huyck dialog addition)
01:09:45 - big laugh at 'You put those on him' (George Lucas dialog)
01:10:10 - Laugh at Mouse Droid bit.
01:17:35 - Laughs and comments about Dianoga. Then quiet.
01:18:25 - Some comments, when luke goes under a second time. dead silence.
01:23:50 - Laughs at 'Walking carpet' line. (Gloria Katz / Willard Huyck dialog addition)
01:27:30 - cough
01:33:40 - Laugh at 'Help i'm melting' line. (Editing)
01:35:00 - Laugh 'I Care' line, predominantly women. (Gloria Katz / Willard Huyck dialog addition)
01:35:30 - Laugh, full crowd at 'No' line. (George Lucas dialog)
01:38:40 - cough
01:50:45 - cough
01:53:20 - Comments after R2 is hit.
01:55:50 - General chatter as Luke and Han walk to get awards.
Many thanks to L.Mayer for the recording and BrianM for cleaning it up and setting it free.
Added AotC IMAX to the first page list.
Haven't considered non-movie items, but the "Special Effects: Anything Can Happen", might end up in the Honorary Mention category, because of the opening scene recreation and the other movie centric material it contained.

Slayer of DeaditesNice list, none! Thanks for taking the time to compare and analyze it. This recording should prove interesting than I initially thought it would be. I actually laughed myself as I read about the audience laughs during the "I Care" line and "No" line. It seems that one just has to sync this with Moth3r's widescreen bootleg, turn down the lights, then get ready for a 1977 theatrical experience. At least, that's what I'm going to do. :)
EDIT: none, your initial post seems to have an error. The sharereactor link under the Phantom Menace is identical to the one under Attack of the Clones. See here:

Well, it was not much of a review ;) but Empire is the best I've seen any SW-bootleg look, a fantastic reference-source to have of the 35mm-cut. Amazing!

Jedi KnightSo, is the ESB boot posted up anywhere yet? Or is it still just disc trading?

I don't think these are uploaded anywhere, I could be wrong, but where are you located? I should have both Jedi and Empire any day now, I could send you Empire if you want.

Jedi KnightThanks d_j, I'm in Canada. The discs have just started to spread in the last week or two so I don't mind waiting for a few more weeks to see if someone puts it up somewhere. If no one does after a while I might take you up on your offer though. :p

Slayer of DeaditesJust watched these too! They're awesome. Thanks, Fritz! I really liked the ESB boot. The colors seemed very vibrant and what the GOUT should have been. I always thought the Star Wars movies were meant to be colorful, but it seems so strange to finally see it! I'll definitely watch it often. It surpassed all my expectations for how good a bootleg should look.
The ROTJ boot was not that easy to watch, but I guess it is significant. After all, we finally have the placement of the theatrical subtitles!

Thanks everyone for the kind words.
The Jedi boot is indeed awful, but it has sentimental value to me. As I stated on the back of the covers I made: "For research purposes only". :-)

I can definitely hear the echo, it's there, just sounds a little weird and different with the higher pitched sound.
