I absolutely loved this edit and I think it might be my all-time favorite.  

    I haven't seen anyone point out any flaws in R2's subtitles but I'm pretty sure when R2 is on Dagobah when he says "area" it's spelled incorrectly.

     Getting ESB and ROTJ into 135 minutes is quite a feat.

     This might give you a great base for a future edit.

      ANH and ESB into 135, ending with a cliffhanger at cloud city?

      ROTJ and the PT into 135 for a saga duology?

      Could the PT be cut down to about 67 minutes (TG style) and still be coherent?

      The second ep might begin with the crawl explaining that the problem at Cloud city and they found a new threat and then a shot of an SD and the SSD and the rescue of Luke and a quick shot of the new hand, then Vader at the DS followed by a quick entrance by the droids or Leia creeping up to free Han or Luke mysteriously walking into the place. To save alot of time, maybe Luke's mind trick does work on Jabba and the Dialogue could be changed to something like " FOOL! We have to let them go!". Alternatively, it doesn't work,  Luke is dropped through the trap door (skip the Rancor) and is simply brought back up to face Jabba with Han and a shortened Sarlac sequence.

       Then the Luke at Ben's hut thing? Luke and Ben sit down to chat and we are launched into a retrospective back to the PT sequence of about 67 minutes and then back to the gang at the fleet to prepare DS attack?

       It would be very difficult to pull-off in a nearly seamless way but it would be great fun to watch the entire saga in two reasonable action-adventure episodes over two evenings.

       Anyway, just a thought. I love these great edit concepts!

When I found out that this wasn't going to be a grindhouse edit, I very nearly didn't bother to download and watch it. I really liked the grindhouse treatment in part 1, and just felt that another ESB/ROTJ fanedit using higher-quality sources was sorta pointless.

Man, am I ever happy that I changed my mind and gave part 2 a chance. This was one of the most enjoyable fanedits I've ever seen. Together with part 1, these are "must see" edits for fanedit aficionados in my opinion. As someone said (don't remember who), you can conceive of part 1 as a low-budget grindhouse flick that enjoys unexpected success, leading to a higher budget and mainstream distribution for the sequel.

Kudos, TMBTM; you've outdone yourself. Truly an entertaining edit, and one that I'm sure I'll watch again.

But after seeing the first one and Alien-Ate, I should have just known better and trusted that it would be a great edit! I have yet to check out Jaws and the silent Star Wars edits.
