Just wanted to say thank you for another fine upload.  Believe it or not, I ran into the same problem with the file size fitting onto a Bd25.  Did some research and it seems that different brands of bd burners allocate different amounts of useable space.  From what I gathered the universally accepted maximum for a bd25 is 23.3gb however some burners will allow upwards of the full 25gb.  48.5gb is what is universally accepted for a 50gb bd-r, though again some burners will let you use the full 50gb.

I'm not complaining though, so don't take my comments as insult.  I'll gladly rebuild or remove features on my end if need be to fit my needs.  I'm merely sharing so you know going forward if anyone else questions your projects fitting onto disk you'll know why and have an answer for them.

Thanks again for the work you do.. this is the 3rd project I've gotten from you (Dream Demon being the other).

Have you attempted to overburn just to see if it'll work?

remember:

GB = Gigabyte = 10003 bytes

GiB = Gibibyte = 10243 bytes

So, a BD-25 is

25,000,000,000 bytes / 1000 = 25,000,000 KB / 1000 = 25,000 MB / 1000 = 25GB = 25 x 10003

or

25,000,000,000 bytes / 1024 = 24,414,062 KiB / 1024 = 23,841 MiB / 1024 = 23.283GiB = 23.283 x 10243 (actually, 24,999,930,888 bytes and something)

so be careful to not mismatch GB and GiB - often I confuse myself, too!

Sadly my projects are lost due to an HDD crash… 😦 | [Fundamental Collection] thread | blog.spoRv.com | fan preservation forum: fanres.com
