Makes perfect sense (though I haven't seen it yet).  It's probably not quite bad enough to make it good.

Go see it.. NOW!!!!!

I'm seriously considering buying The Room. I don't know what that means.

Wife nixed the idea. She (and I) would rather have the Cartoon Network version with the black blocks.

There are numerous Youtube readings but I can't help but think only MS Paint could do these works justice.

No. But I have seen that godawful-looking car in another movie called Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn. That was a brilliantly awful movie in it's own right =D

God doesn't think in terms of black or white - or even shades of gray - but in big, bright, bold hues of blue and orange.

I just discovered that the '67 Spiderman cartoon is streaming on Netflix.  I vaguely remember watching it at some point but don't remember any specifics.  But if I remember correctly, and judging by the meme, it might be good for some laughs.

Oh, and of course I remember the theme song.  I'll bet I watched this quite a bit as a young tyke.

Another film so bad it's good I'd recommend from memory (though it's inexplicably regarded by some gore hounds) is Dèmoni (1985) aka Demons directed by Lamberto (son of Mario...the director not the computer game plumber) Bava but probably more famous for being produced by Dario Argento.

Best watched badly dubbed.

I used to bore my friends to undeath making them watch Argento movies (a pastime I still find myself defending to this day).

The plot is uttely inexplicable involving films within films, Lovecraftian plot hinges etc but it's your basic pretty Italian people turning into yellow puss filled monsters story.

SPOILERS, IF YOU WANT TO WANT TO ENCOUNTER THE FULL IMPACT OF THIS FILM DO NOT READ ON...

All rather hum, drum (and for what happens next to work it really needs that pacing) until our remaining heroes are caught in a utterly inescapable position and suddenly...

...well let's just say if you want to explain the phrase 'deus ex machina' to someone you need look no further but it really is executed with such surprise and panache (which I've hopefully not destroyed by what little I've divulged) and lack of any prior plot telegraphing that it's as entertaining as Divine being raped by a giant lobster in Multiple Maniacs (and that's saying something).

Nope - trying too hard.  And I knew that would be the case before watching a second of the trailer, just based on the title alone.

Day Of The Dead (2008), not to be confused with Day Of The Dead 2 : Contagium (2005).

As a highly derided remake (in name only...mostly) of the underrated 1985 original I didn't expect much.

I was instead rewarded by possibly the most hilarious zombie film ever made.

It's certainly pacey.

It moves with such speed that your brain should, in theory, not have time to notice how awful the plot and the characters are but they are so keen to remind you that even the super speed never masks how joyfully awful the characters are and how contrived the plot is.

If 28 Days Later (2002) introduced (via the backdoor) the running speedzombie, this film takes the genre to the air cooler hut, on the roof of the penthouse, many floors above the next level.

These zombies instantly go from nose bleeding, living people with a sniffle to, moldy superzombies capable of crawling on walls like spiderman, driving cars, firing guns... but at a price.

If you hit them with a car they fall apart like cardboard boxes containing full vacuum cleaner bags.

If you set fire to them they flare up and disintegrate like they are made of magnesium.

It's so OTT and so relentlessly gory that laughter is the only possible reaction.

If you watch this film with an open mind and don't expect any of it to make sense or be remotely artistic you are in for a real treat.

I just got my copy from Amazon.  It will be needed for AOTR...and for general hilariousness.  The chapter list is amazing, btw.  I need to take a picture and upload it since I can't find one online.

RE: The So-Bad-It's-Good Thread (Unintentional and Intentional Comedy Both Allowed)

We were just getting some ink from Amazon and needed to get something else to make free shipping. My wife says in her best Tommy Wiseau voice "How about The Room!"

I find it and add it to our cart, which is now more than enough for free shipping. She then says "Get Birdemic too!" Would you believe (1) it's on Blu-ray and (2) the Blu-ray is $2 cheaper than the DVD?
