I've never heard of the "clapperboard" special. I don't think what you're requesting to post is against any of the regulations of this board, just as long as you're not trying to sell it. Please, post away, I'm sure I'm not the only one curious.
If you want to contact me, please, please email me. My PMs are turned off because I just plain don't like dealing in PM space. If you email me at reverendbeastly AT gmail DOT com, I will respond swiftly. Thanks!

Babyhum was my source for the two-disc "Making Of..." set I made. He has a large collection of rare Lucasfilm related specials. You name it, he probably has it! ;-)
Good to see you here, BH. You should check out the OT.com BT tracker of choice at myspleen.net

That Horizon show sounds very similar to an episode of the PBS series NOVA, a 1985 VHS recording of which I've rediscovered in sorting out all my old tapes. Is it possible that it's the same show slightly changed for opposite sides of the pond? The only downside to my recording is that it was broadcast with "open captioning", which means the normally invisible closed captions are "burned in" and can't be removed.
Where were you in '77?

The show was a co-production between the BBC and W.G.B.H. Boston so i think it's a good bet that these shows are one and the same.

Any word on if these releases will be available as torrents or on a.b.starwars? I'm very interested in checking them out and adding them to my collection but eMule simply doesn't get along with my router at all.
Thanks in advance gang.

For 25 minutes, that first video is an awful small video file. You know you should be using XP mode on a stand-alone recorder, right?
I've been dying to get a copy of that NOVA special again. I remember it originally airing and that I taped over it all those years ago.

If you read the release information you'll notice that the running time is only 25 minutes and the average bit rate is 8959kbps. That's because i used XP mode. Whenever i record using the Panasonic i use XP mode unless the program is over 65 minutes. I then use FR mode. I hope this clears things up.
You'll all probably see the first two releases on Myspleen in the next few days thanks to Rikter.
