Omg I just have to say this. For fun I got an “official” (not sure) set of the official DVDs from China. I didn’t get them off the street or anything, just like a sort of comic-book store for DVDs so I think they’re okay. Anyway it’s got a Chinese language option!!! REPEAT!!! CHINESE LANGUAGE OPTION: Mandarin and Cantonese I think!!! Has anybody heard these? During the fight between Luke and Vader it’s like a kung fu film the way Vader’s speaking!!! And the quality is so bad on both tracks, feels very analog so I think it’s the original voice overs!!!

AAHHHAHAHAHHAAH!!! Possible preservation effort?

I assume these DVDs are the Star Wars Original Trilogy? Or did the set include the prequels too? If you have the prequels then the Chinese audio for Episode III could be utilised in an effort to 'enhance' the "Backstroke of the West" edit. Somebody could take the audio and stick it onto ROTS with the BOTW subtitles.

Odds are, that they aren't Lucasfilm-endorsed copies. Are they region free? if so, they are bootlegs.
