I was very dissapointed with the DVD that was released for this film as they have gone and mucked about with much of the color, and the sound. Many sound effects were changed or simply left out. I had a good condition vhs copy transferred onto DVD....but its quality is much lower than the remastered version picture-wise. I was wondering if there was anyone out there who would be willing to do an Adywan style re-edit of this particular film, or if its already been done. I am currectly working on DVD artwork that is much darker than the overly cheery garbage they made for the official DVD and will gladly supply it to anyone who might like to undertake a re-edit of this film...

To clarify, when I say an Adywan style edit......I mean only to color correct the film, and match the new color corrected picture from the sharper new version, with the sound from the old version.....no new effects or animation added or anything like that

Magister Pontifex MaximusIf you have a hotmail account you can use Skydrive (it sometimes does odd things to the colours though but it's free).
Then it's just a matter of pasting the image address into the little tree box field second from the left of the reply text tool bar thing in front of you.
Remember to scale the pictures down so they don't overwhelm the thread you are posting in (if people want to see them full sized they can right click on them).
Flicker isn't a good option as a host as you have to be logged in to see them.
Say goodbye, to all this and "hello" to Jason Issacs.

All I'm doing is hotlinking to images other people have uploaded.
And feel free to PM.

Ha-ha indeed! (your picture isn't showing up).
Refresh your cache and you will see what I mean. Second rule of hotlinking is to preview the picture and then refresh your cache to make sure it will show up.

LOL.....D'oh. I did everything Bingo said....why wouldnt it be working? (and how does one refresh a cache?)

Likes Lens FlairsOops, I thought you hotlinked. If you were linking to your own uploaded image, I don't know what went wrong.
Refreshing your cache might depend on your OS or browser, but I always use CTRL-F5. You can usually find it in your browser options also.

well just ctrl f5'd and everything's still showin up on my end

Likes Lens FlairsYeah, it's probably because you uploaded your own image instead of hotlinking to someone else's. When you hotlink, sometimes the image shows up because it is in your cache, but no one else can see it because it is not in their cache. When you clear your cache, you will no longer be able to see it either. I don't know why certain hotlinks show up and certain ones don't. But doing your own uploading is a different beast, apparently. Sorry I can't help more.

Well then, back to the topic at hand.....heres a link to the image again, since I seem to be too much of a noob to get it to show up on my own, lol

aka PancakesIt doesn't look too over-saturated to me. If anything, the one on the bottom looks washed out and faded.

It always did look washed out and faded.....the whole cartoon always looked like it had been drawn on top of an old map....which was what I loved about it. The remastered version's quality is great, everything is sharp and clear, but the colors have just got to go
Ok, link is fixed, and maybe possibly the photo up above in the thread itself is working?
