I think that skit was written so somebody on the show could buy one of those expensive Old B.O.B action figures that only came out in Japan, and Time Warner foots the bill. ;)
It's weird how they totally nail things like that parody of The Dark Crystal, and then they do a Fraggle Rock skit where they can't even get the characters right.

More like an ignorant "educational" film on Mormons who try to cast us in a sci-fi light. It's actually a common and inaccurate tactic. But you missed an opportunity for a Kodos and Kang joke. ;)
