VLC nightly versions (available at http://nightlies.videolan.org/) handle BDMV folders best as per my experience. There is an option to play BDMV folders through File→Open or something like that.

Thanks for a brilliant upload, but I was wondering if the documentary on John Cazale you mentioned in your first post (I Knew It Was You: Rediscovering John Cazale HD) is included in your release. I didn't see it in the release notes (and I don't want to download the whole thing just to find it's not included), so please tell me if it's there. If you do have an HD version of that documentary (and you haven't released it already), I'd be very grateful if you would upload it. Thanks again!

Unfortunately, the documentary was a huge disappointment, for me. Too many film clips and not enough interviews.
The saving grace for it was never-before-seen home video footage from the family that owned the house that stood in for the compound. There was also additional screen test footage that wasn't shown in the 1990 documentary.
It kills me that Jaws and the Star Wars films have had numerous documentaries and The Godfather has really only had one. :(

T'is a pity, isn't it? Then again, The Godfather film itself does have, to its credit, a beautiful restoration by Robert Harris, while Star Wars has well... do I need to say it?

Padawan LearnerHello everybody. DFNYC, thank you for this effort, I wasn't aware there is a HD version of a tv novel. This are great news!
The Newsgroups version (2,something GB) won't extract. I downloaded it twice and it wouldn't open due some invalid files inside.
Torrent (44,55 GiB) is working; not very much seeding though.
Any downloading advice is welcome, here or PM.

I am really interested in downloading this and am just checking if there is anywhere with it available.
Could someone tell me if the AMC logo is visible in the film, and if there are any ad breaks on AMC (I am from the UK)?
