RE: The Fall of the Jedi Trilogy

For anyone interested in getting their hands on a pre-release version of Episode 2, all you need to do it rate and review the first episode on Fanedit.org. Once that's done, PM me with what version you want (DVD, AVCHD or BR) and I'll send you the link. Episode 2 will officially be released the first week of July.

What if... Every mention to Padme's pregnancy was cut out. So the audience would be wondering: "Is she pregnant or this is just fat?" Anakin could be the lover, the second guy. She could be married but her husband is a senator and is always busy. Then, when Anakin (hide every mention to Skywalker) starts to kill everybody, he could kill some guy that follows Padme in the background, so it would make sense when Obi-wan says "He betrayed and murdered your father". Padme's last scene would be in the ship on Mustafar.

When Vader says: "I am your father". The audience would be like: "Oh, the lover is the real father."

Or... she could have s*x with Owen Skywalker when Anakin is on Tatooine hunting the Sand People, I don't know...

"Yeah and... and... and I'm gonna be back to talk about them Rolexes."

lol at "s*x"

If she had "s*x" with Owen it would be goofy, maybe. I think it was a stupid idea. What do you guys think?

I think you can say "sex."

I don't know what s*x has to do with anything.  My kids just turned on Dumbo, and it clearly shows that children come from the Mr. Stork.

Maybe Luke and Leia could come from Mr. Mynock.

The ROTJ collaborative thread is a wealth of ideas, both on how to edit Return of the Jedi, as well as how to collaborate in an edit.  Emanswfan has taken leadership of the project.

Password for all ROTJ-related clips: ROTJ

A very rough edit of how the Battle of Endor could go
A very rough idea of how ROTJ could end

Rough edit based on the final script with some deviation:

Part 1  Part 2  Part 3  Part 4

I'm confused by the direction this thread has gone too.

I have almost completed the translation of EP1. I'll soon contact you in order to see how you can merge it to your release.

Is there a demonoid link to download EP2? It's easier for me to go through this site.

It's good you reminded of this. I just finished a slightly revised version cutting another 3 min as well as one other minor change. I'll hold off on doing this until you get me the subtitles.

I don't have Ep 2 on Demonoid but the DVD version is available on MF. Also, if you'd like an early look at Ep 3 I'd prefer you to do that one first since I want to get that out the first week of August. I would be much happier releasing one version as opposed to two.

The true reveal after Return of the Jedi is that it was just fat. Luke and Leia are actually completely unrelated to Darth Vader, who cared entirely too much about a woman who had chub implants.

To get rid of continuity-breaks and surprises being spoilt by seeing the prequels before the original trilogy, not only would the name Skywalker have to be get rid of as well as the name Vader and his contruction-scene, as well as the sight of the pregnant Padme... but also every picture where Yoda is being seen as a Jedi.

I think all this would take too much out of the movies and it would be better to just watch the original trilogy first and then the prequels (of course in the form of a good fanedit).

I'm trying to get the AVCHD version of this and have downloaded from Usenet, but Winrar says Part 005 is corrupt.  Any ideas?  Thanks.

You should have a bunch of PAR2 files along with the RARs. Try running thoughs through a program like QuickPar to repair the RAR files.

I enjoyed the episode 1 cut very much.  I tried getting the 1080p bd25 version of episode 2 off usenet, but part 006 is two blocks short wherever I look.  There aren't enough par files to fix it.  Can anyone either re-up part 006 or point me to another par file?

Thanks!

RE: The Fall of the Jedi Trilogy

I just checked the NZB file and all segments are present. One thing you could try is to go to binsearch.info and search for "q2 fotj ep2". Find the exact file you need and create a new NZB for just that file and try re-downloading.

Thanks.  Did a search on q2 fotj ep2 at binsearch.  While they did show part 006 as being 1 block short over there, at least there were many more par files to work with, and I was able to repair the broken file.

Kudos again to part 2. Looking forware to part 3.  :)

Strange issue here.  Downloaded the BD25 version from binsearch.info.  Everything downloaded ok, and repaired ok...however, when the extraction occurs, I get a bad CRC error on one of the .rar files.  Tried WinRAR and IZarc to extract.  Both failed.

The funny thing with WinRAR however, is that I can stop the extraction at around 70% as the 00005.m2ts has finished extracting...copy it out of the folder, and play it before it fails.  The only problem with this is that it has no timestamp on it, so I can only play it linearly, without the ability to jump around, fast forward, etc...

What episode? Someone downloaded Ep 2 and had a similar issue, but successfully repaired it by opening the first vol PAR2 file instead of the main PAR2 file in MultiPar (NOT QuickPar). You might want to give that a try to see if it resolves your problem.
