Ah! This is the one I have!

I had bought a different set previously (I know, I know...) then got this set off suprnova. Never saw the extras DVD there, but strangely it came with the other OT set!

Gonzo, so you were the one who emailed me a few years back to use the THX trailer? It looks like you used the web version, which comes out a little stuttery and dark. I would have been happy to send you the full-res version.

People have different opinions, but the TR47 set is probably considered one of the best.
If you want to contact me, please, please email me. My PMs are turned off because I just plain don't like dealing in PM space. If you email me at reverendbeastly AT gmail DOT com, I will respond swiftly. Thanks!

Hi guys-
Did anyone else have a problem with the PAR files for Darth Osor's posts of the Gonzo set? Out of the four sets, they seem to either be for the Extras and Ep. 6. I have newshosting, so maybe they've messed up the files I'm not sure. Anyways, I'm stuck with two bad rars for ep 5.
Thanks guys-

Yeah, tried to download TESB via alt.binaries.starwars but VOB 2 is corrupt. I was able to download the rest of the set just fine... any help getting TESB would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all. I have all but Ep IV, and was wondering if anyone would be willing to repost it to a.b.starwars. If you can help, please reply here or pm me. In return I can post V, VI or Extras if someone's interested. (repack only, as I don't have the original rars anymore.)
TIA,

I've lurked for a month or so now, read pretty much every post in this forum & I think this might be my first post. I've downloaded the Editdroid, Farsight & TR47 sets. I've just finished the Dr. Gonzo version of A New Hope, I have to say that this version is my favourite so far. When I first put the disc in my machine I thought there was a problem as it played the trench run footage first. I guessed I'd screwed up burning the disc somehow. When I realised it was a Star Wars THX trailer my jaw dropped (literally). WOW!
The quality is stunning. Thank you.

Can we get some seeders for ROTJ?
I have to download the whole thing for a De-SE project I'm working on.
All I need is the original Jabba song in anamorphic video and 5.1 sound, so it's compatible with the official DVD.
Can anybody here send me the video clip from Dr. Gonzo of the original Jabba dance number? I have Gmail, so I can hold a gigabyte of space. That'd be much appreciated. PM me if you are able to do it.

Hi guys! I'm kinda new to all this, so I just wanted to ask, what program would you recommend to download Gonzo's version as quick as possible? Right now I use Exeem beta version, but it's damn slow and breaks the Internet connection after a while. Help!

Just got done viewing Gonzo's ANH in a small theatre setting (30-40 people) on a Christie X5 HD projector on to a 40ft screen. It was employee movie night at our nice university natural history museum (my dad's the AV guy). The thing that amazed me was how well the special effects stand up on a large screen format and how there's so much you miss when you watch it on a small screen. Everyone cheered and clapped at the end just like 1977. Brought back some great memories. Thanks Dr. Gonzo!

Am new to this forum - have read all your posts. Good work people! Unfortunately don't have the technology to be able to download and burn copies of the films - can someone tell me how to get the DVDs? Am good for all costs. First movie I ever saw was Star Wars (apparently I hid under the seat for the first bit). Am hanging out to see the films again as close as they can be to the theatrical release. Can someone help out?
I'm altering the bargain. Pray I don't alter it any further...
