OK, the titles says it all! I'm about to start with some friends a fanedit of TDKR which include and complete the character arc of the Joker.
By the end of the month we are going to shoot two additional scenes and pre-edit them in order to be ready to complete the edit shortly after the BD release of the movie.
We already have the cast ready we just need a good voice for the Joker: no one of us is native speaker, so the scene will be shot in English, in order to have the right labial movement but we are looking for someone who can do a good impression of the Heath Ledger's Joker's voice.
Anyone able/interested in this?

Don't bother. It's been done - more or less - and done better than any other attempt I've seen.

Yes, I know them and I'm waiting for their season 2. But this is a different idea, we just want to conclude the Joker's story arc within the trilogy. If, then, this edit and the Joker Blogs will not contraddict themselves and they will be watchable like if they are in the same continuity... well, I will be more than happy!

now that sounds cool. I wish the joker was in TDKR (of course with what happens to heath that didn't happen...what could of been)
Looking forward to see what you do.

Keeper of the Taco SandwichSigh... yeah, with the whole releasing inmates out of the prison and all, the Joker would be back on the streets and could have thrown quite a twist into how things turned out.

Magister Pontifex MaximusI wish Dent had been in the last Dark Knight film.
It makes more sense that he sit in the judge's chair than Crane.
The Dent Act makes no sense when you really think about it.

Dent instead of Crane? Cool!
Dent is alive, secretly kept for 8 years in Blackgate. Finally free, he turn the Act named after him against - amongst the other - Gordon himself!
But I think the judge scene was for the Joker. Obviously, Nolan and Co. keep saying that there was nothing written for TDKR when TDK was released but I think that the plot of the third chapter was already planned out in their mind.
Anyway, we also thought of edit that scene and insert the Joker but I respect Nolan as a director so much that I'd like not to modify anything he done in the movie, just *add* something and using the Joker to explain one particular moment in the movie that a lot of people see as a plot hole.
PS: still waiting for a Joker soundalike for the voice!
In the next weeks I think I'll post some screen test, anyway!

Magister Pontifex MaximusPersonally I just don't think the scene is funny enough for the Joker, it fits that the decision of execution or exile should be coin time.
Shame you aren't after a Bane sound alike because you could have used any work by Donald Sinden.

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES
ALTERNATIVE ENDING (FAN-EDITED): Hey, guys, I was watching a very popular Brazilian videocast "Jovem Nerd" ("Young Nerd" in English) and they have purposed and edited an alternative ending, without showing Bruce Wayne. Very thrilling, got me chills. Check this out:

Padawan LearnerAgreed. Better ending without him as far as film goes, but I like it with him from a fan perspective (like everything wrapped up in a neat little box).

Slayer of DeaditesGreat alternate ending. Much better than the theatrical. Love how Caine simultaneously acknowledges both Bruce and the audience. It feels like a cinematic "thank you" from Nolan, if you will.

Keeper of the Taco SandwichWhen I saw the ending of Dark Knight Rises, I immediately thought of the movie from the 60's.
