Is Twister closer to Frink's age than we thought?!

I had a bit of a scare a few weeks back and entertained the neighbours with my being carted off to the local infirmary in the back of an ambulance with a suspected silent heart attack (it's like a normal heart attack but in black and white with staccato movements, caption cards and a piano bashing away in the background) shenanigans.

It's seems to be a false alarm in my case (I have no idea what could have caused severe jaw ache and pains in my arms but according to the NHS24 bods it was worth sending out an ambulance).

I had to chuckle while handing over the £40 to the taxi driver dropping me back home at one o'clock in the morning.

I hope Twister is feeling better too.

You have seen the type of things twister posts, right? And didn't she have her picture as her avatar back when that was the theme? She is like in her early twenties at the oldest (I'd guess sixteen to seventeen).

I am serious and, I never posted my picture here. I posted a video game character whom I look like. Regardless I'm 23 I just have a really crappy body health wise. I'll admit the OP and, thread title are somewhat in humorous nature. Hey can you blame me for attempting to bring myself a little levity in this situation? Sure it helps about as much as three drops in a pond does but, it's better then nothing.

I'm still confused.  Did you have a serious health issue of some sort?

I think a heart attack is pretty serious though a lot of people have them and go on to lead very long and happy lives, which I hope twister will (as if that needed saying).

Okay let me explain. When I mentioned here that "I was too busy fighting death at the time to be aware of (Crystal Pepsi's) existence." While I phrased that in a rather fantastical fashion it's representative of true events in that I should technically already be dead years ago. That is without treatments that the Doctors themselves weren't sure would work. I've been somewhat weaker ever since. Considering I'm basically living on borrowed time since then, living until now I personally consider an accomplishment in itself.

Nobody lives on borrowed time, take it from an expert, time doesn't work like that.

Your life is a product of a cosmic whip-round.

Your biological parents provided the chemical possibilities (which they obtained from their ancestors) and the rest is the product of generations of other factors (some of them human) adding to a high enough probability that you are alive now and near enough to a machine which is capable of displaying these words.

The doctors played their part too in this complex interaction of seemingly ordered but largely chaotic events but ultimately what is keeping anyone here from dissolving into a pool of abstract mathematics is a mystery.

Just keep on enjoying the ride the best you can.

Bingowings Yeah I suppose "borrowed time" is sort of a misnomer of a phrase. Though it's kind of one I feel best describes how I feel sometimes.

It's never being selfish to let friends know what's happening in your life. That said, I'm sorry to hear about this horrible incident and hope you recover as quickly as possible.

I agree with Kev and Bingo.  It's not selfish and you're not here on borrowed time.  You're here.
