I used quite a few different filters on that image. I hope it's clear all those images are the same blurry image and the left and right one represent two different approaches of dealing with the blurriness.

As to the Qui-Gon picture, yes I did that in photoshop but it could just as easily be done in After Effects or probably even avisynth.

  Yes the original dose look warmer. I would say increase the yellow in this shot or adjust the White balance.

I'm having problems with importing the H.264 file to Premiere or After Effects. Do you happen to know how to do this?

What container are you using? I'd recommend importing in m2ts without multiple audio files and no subtitles.

I've tried to do it on an MKV to no avail. I've also tried converting the file to m2ts, but I still can't import it.

MKV doesn't work but m2ts remuxed with tsmuxer always works for me, so I don't know what the problem could be.

Yes, I did it with tsmuxer. I even tried to mux it with the dts track on a separate file, but I still receive the same "The file has an unsupported compression type." error.

@Alexrd: That's strange. Which version of the programs are you using?

@Neverar: That's very interesting. It could well be that the "original" is just some sort of promo picture and is not actually from the film at all.

Is there any special option I need to activate on tsmuxer before the conversion? I think I did everything okay though. The file plays fine.

Not that I can think of. And CS5.5 should definitely be able to read m2ts just fine. I really don't know what the problem could be.

It seems strange that they would rerender Jabba as early as that - it seems more likely to me that that FB picture isn't from the original at all.
