So georgie is not givin the films. Can we use the laser disc original trilogy versions with the new ones to get an anamorphic fan version???

It's been done several times, Flashbang.  What you're looking for is something along the lines of Paulisdead's "Vintage Edit" or OCP's Classic Editions.  You can find them in the "fan edits and preservations" section - at least, hints as to where to find them.
