I wouldn't be surprised if GL did add more to the Blu Rays. He prlly looked at his PT and compared it with the OT and realized, "Man! so much inconsistency! i really screwed up!"

Double standards!!I have a bad feeling that the original films will be blue-er than ever and that Darth Vader will be re-dubbed by Hayden Christiansen

Magister Pontifex MaximusIf he does it the right way around I don't mind him doing another special edition as long as the originals are up for grabs too.
George does seem to be more likely to give us a back flipping Alec Guinness than a toned down Christopher Lee.

...as long as Vader's mask is animated with some mandibles or something or other, then bring on the off the chain Guinness Dark-Flip.

Jedi KnightI doubted that it had anything to do with the BD. But, at the same time Ady is right--it's a weeeeird coincidence. The reason being, the month it closes is very likely the month they will announce the specs for the BD. Hmmm. But then, others are right--I browsed the official forums from time to time, and if you think TF.N is bad just take a look at the sad state of those boards. Maybe someone actually woke up and realized they were serving little purpose.
The Secret History of Star Wars -- now available on Amazon.com!
"When George went back and put new creatures into the original Star Wars, I find that disturbing. It’s a revision of history. That bothers me."

I felt a great disturbance in the Force web, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened.

I am ready for the trials!Do they still have that "Hyperspace" pay to see content, that somehow finds it's way to free fan forums anyway?

No. Not since two years or so.

I am ready for the trials!Hyperspace. Charging 40 bucks a month to see content that should be free. Now that is low. If it's gone by now, I'm glad it is.
Sounding like a broken record since May 2006.

I don't necessarily disagree, but I'd like to play Devil's Advocate for a moment.
Why should any content be free?

I am ready for the trials!I mean cheap internet content, not music or movies, like you could look at on SW.com before hyperspace.

I am ready for the trials!I was a member of the original fan club, so in essence I was paying for content like the Bantha Tracks newsletter, but with all the freebies and perks, one definitely got more bang for your 1980's buck. Some of the posters we got with renewing membership are worth a lot today! ;)
I could see charging a small fee to see that live webcam they had on the ROTS set, but I would have liked to been able to see more of the OT behind the scenes stills that had not been seen before, with an option to buy a nice print of them sans any digital watermark.

It isn't. I give Comcast $40 a month.

i See his point though. Why should you be charged to visit a forum? Its for SW fans and its not like there's any special deal that comes along with it.
Btw, i pay $88 a month

Ce n'est pas DuracellEnergizerI considered posting there but never did. I'm drunk at the moment BTW. I've never had a booze-related blackout before, though. Maybe this time will be different.

Padawan LearnerHyperspace wasn't the classiest move, but if they can get us to pay for the privilege of being advertised to, they might as well at this point.

I am ready for the OOT!Regarding hyperspace, I always thought it was a sleazy move, an insult to fans. I can maybe understand paying extra for streaming content or video, but paying to see pictures and read articles is ludicrous.
But realistically, the hyperspace paywall didn't stop anything from getting out to free sites eventually. So in the end it's all good.
Is the old hyperspace stuff still on starwars.com?
You know of the rebellion against the Empire?

That was my point. I already pay Comcast to get online, why should I pay to visit a web forum to get content that is no better than the free stuff you can find all over the internet.
