Kongerne, that's an interesting idea. This is turning into the Christopher Nolan edit of Star Wars. lol. Excited to see this moving forward again.

If I gave any suggestions, they would be to use a few cues from some of John Williams other scores. Much like infrodroid did in the trailers, and James Newton Howard always comes off powerful.

But whatever you do, I'm very excited to see this.

The chosen one plot will be in it for the most part. TPM has been reduced to a 30 minute prologue. And that's a good idea to start off ROTJ with the council testing Anakin at the age of 10. I'll consider it Kongerne. The ESB scene will probably be a new dream sequence and I'm going to have a lead into the space battle above Coruscant and I'll probably shorten the battle on the invisible hand. But for now, let's worry about Star Wars: Renascent first.

Also, if you guys can give me some great instrumental pieces you think could work that would be great. Give me some nice James Newton Howard and John Williams scores that I could use. And if it's from another soundtrack I want something subtle that is probably only played on screen once so people don't think "Gladiator" or "X-Men" when they watch it. Same goes for music from trailers.

Can anyone explain to me how you replace music tracks with new cues? I edit on Adobe Premiere if anyone could show me how. Thanks.

You need to convert the audio to 6 wav tracks and replace the music tracks. So you guys can email any music files you'd like to be used to:

However, if you don't tell me on OT.com that you sent the file, I won't open it. This way if I get a virus, I know which one of you it was from. ;) But I would prefer you upload the music through megaupload.com or rapidshare and then post it here. Or you could just give me the Song title, album title and artist and I can get it myself.

When you separate the 5.1 surround tracks, is there any bleeding from one track to another?

I thought I saw Adywan mention something about that a long time ago.

That might be best. I sent a couple of suggestions to ther Reborn guys that way and it worked fine. And if it's a really obscure track that you can't find, we'll just upload it somewhere, like you said.

get besweet (make sure to get the GUI too).  Its freeware.  You can load your 5.1 ac3 file and decode it to 6 wav files.

I dunno if the 5.1 bleeds. I'm not there yet. I'm still trying to figure out how to use AGK with max quality for VOB to AVI

Personally I would stick with John Williams Star Wars score, anything else is going to sound out of place, though some of the music not composed by Williams for The Force Unleashed is quite good. (anyone have a link for the TFU OST?)

An example would be the OST in The Clone Wars, the non-Williams cues sounded quite jarring to me at times.

I might use some of the music from The Clone Wars but definetly not the theme. I might also use music from TFU. I'm looking into the King Arthur soundtrack right now.

Will if I do use music you guys have listened to countless times, I appolagize. I'm trying to go with music that hasn't been heard in a mass. And thanks ben_danger. Does anyone have TFU OST in better quality?

I'm gonna see if I can get someone else to do the DVD after words. I'll provide the Deleted Scenes and Actual Film as well as a few possible featurettes. That person would only have to do Subtitles, collecting the clips for the menu and assembling it. I should be finished editing after about 6 months. Then I'll give the DVD creator another 6 months to work on the DVD and once I know it's completed, I'll be doing some quick 30 second spots for people until the release.

Just another update: I got ANH ripped to my pc in 100% quality. I have to rip the audio now and then do the same for AOTC
