How does the poster look?

Yes it will be a trilogy. However I'm using the Revisited DVDs so for ESB and ROTJ you're going to have to wait a bit. Also I'm going to redo the Star Wars logo and yeah no problem, poster concepts are fine! And I'll give that Vader thing a shot. I was going for a Drew Struzan feel to the poster.

Also that title is a work in progress. I wanted it to simply be Star Wars: The Clone Wars but that's been overused... what if I just kept it with the title "STAR WARS" and we call it the Chronicles or Clone Wars Chronicles as a project title? So going by that we call the other ones simply "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi" but the project titles could be "The Empire Strikes Back: The Sith Ascension" and "Return of Jedi: The Dark Redemption"

Those could also be the taglines for the three. And this way we have new abbreviations for these projects. CWC/Chronicles, TSA/Ascention, TDR/Redemption. But again, the finalized titles are simply:

• Star Wars
• The Empire Strikes Back
• Return of the Jedi

EDIT: Oh and it's also going to made so you can watch it Back to Back as one film in essence.

I'm going to add "The Clone Wars Chronicles" at the top for the project title for our convenience. But the title IN the film will only be Star Wars. Also I was thinking we just do a sort of opening titles thing explaining the backstory of AOTC before that scene and after the Padme scene we have the titles explaining ANH, the way it was done in Gladiator. This way it will reflect the titles used in the prologue as well.

I just recently received SW:Revisited and I'm getting my new computer in about two weeks.

So an update on titles:

They will all be called by their theatrical names followed by "Renascent" (Star Wars: Renascent, EBS: Renascent etc)

They will all have taglines:

• The Clone Wars Narration
• The Sith Ascension
• The Dark Redemption

As you can see they all end in a similar sounding word and begin with the article "The". Also, I've completed the final poster and have decided to remove it and release a Teaser poster instead once I purchase my new computer (probably some time this week) and it will have a release time included with it.

Sounds interesting. I've always thought a "Highlander" version of Star Wars would be cool, with the OT as the main story but using key sections of the PT as flashbacks to flesh it out more.

I've even considered trying to tackle it myself, trying to maybe streamline it all into one 3 hour epic movie, but I'm not sure how much I could squish it to make a coherent narrative out of 6 films.

Damn, this finished poster looks soooooooooo nice! Too bad I don't wanna post it until spring. :(

I saw it a while ago. I'll be doing something very similar. Only the original idea doesn't come from this, it comes from the ROTJ novelization. Anyways, I got big news...

After much consideration and meditation, I've decided I'll be changing most of the music from the films. This isn't a "ORIGINAL!!!! OMGZ!" project. It's a reinvention, a rebirth. A Renascence. So that said, I've got gigs upon gigs of music selections. A lot of the music will be from Hans Zimmer and there will also be music from Immediate Music aswell as some music from a few video games. That's not to say I will be removing ALL of the Star War music (music staying: Opening Crawl, Closing Credits, Empire/Dark Side theme, Jedi/Force theme, Across the Stars) some stuff will stay and be recycled into different places as well. With the scenes cutting back and forth, the atmosphere of the film might get a little messed up so I'm going to make the emotions of the scenes stick out a lot more by using the music.

By the way, Luke and Leia's kiss is cut.

I'm using the pieces from Zimmer that are short and vitually unidentifiable and stuff from his exapanded soundtracks. For example, if I use a small piece from Gladiator, it won't be any of the main themes.

I'm ripping SW:Revisited now.
