Star Wars: Frames

You know the $3,000 set of books containing high quality stills from all six films. This set has already been mentioned in the forums but a search didn't yield any results.

There's video containing a glimpse into the set and the process of selecting the images/frames. This kind of makes me feel ill so I'm not going to comment any further other than it definitely (no surprise really) contains SE only images.

Would guess this is a bonus for the LFL book crew.  With so many denser more research intensive works this year, a few Visionaries and Frames offsets those costs.

I like how they are "frames" from something that has never been put on film except for TPM. Even then, AotC and RotS were printed to film at some point for theatrical viewings, the 2004 remains all-digital, and 1080p at that.

Also, this is another proof that they have no intention of retransfering the OT for Blu, as then these "frames" wouldn't match.

You have got to be kidding. The image prints look really nice in scope, but all that effort for a $3,000 set that's limited to 1138 copies?

The ultimate collector's set is the trilogy in IB prints, 70mm prints, and 97SE prints for ultimate completists.

Though its hard to tell due to the lighting, I'm pretty sure that the frames from ESB are blue:

The lighting made Yoda look green, but white balancing to the certificate shows that its the same old (new) colors.

EDIT: I just happened to have frames from those shots from the GOUT, 2004, and Revisited!
