Twisted & EvilThat's for sure... When I was young, anytime I heard the Fox music coming from the living room I'd rush in hoping Star Wars was coming on. Lot's of disappointing moments followed that music...

The established Fox Fanfare & Star Wars crawl didn't stop the Prequels from being a complete waste of time and money

I am ready for the trials!They already broke the tradition with the Clone Wars movie, and it did feel weird at the time.
IIRC, it was Star Wars that revived the longer Fox fanfare, which originally played only with Cinemascope films. Fox seems to use it on everything these days.

I guess there's just a part of me that feels like you need that fanfare to be the very first thing you hear in a Star Wars movie with "Episode" and a roman numeral in the title.

StarkillerYearly releases (or twice yearly) seems to serve the Marvel Studios movies pretty well. I think diversity of characters and themes is the key to success here.
