Hahaha :D

Prequel Trilogy was supposed to be a story about a good man turning bad. In reality, it is a story about how a complete jerk (PT Anakin) turned into one of the best characters in film history (OT Vader)

How about this one?

1. Hamill looks like Christopher Lambert in that poster.

2. Technically it should say Gordon-Levitt.

3. I would pay good money to see a Star Wars flick with Milla Jovovich in that getup.

Bieber should play an alien that can shift between genders.

God doesn't think in terms of black or white - or even shades of gray - but in big, bright, bold hues of blue and orange.

Now this is something I'll never understand. Why has Abrams been handed the reins of Star Trek when he doesn't even understand the universe? Forgive my ignorance - I haven't seen the film myself - but that just sounds completely stupid to me.

He told Paramount he knew nothing about Star Trek.

They hired him anyway.

Supposedly, he was hired off of his directing Mission Impossible 3 for Paramount.

It was the least successful film in that franchise.

Go figure.

Never look for logic from Hollywood. You'll go insane.

It's perfectly fine for people to prefer the "Prime Universe," but they still have 24 seasons and 10 movies to fall back on. The problem wasn't with pleasing hardcore fans, it's with gaining new ones--which is the opposite of Star Wars' problem as I see it.
Poor "Enterprise", not even counted! ;-)

I'll take Enterprise over Voyager.

The only reason I watched that pile was for Seven of Nine.

Yum.

There’s not enough makeup in the world to make Fisher look human anymore.

I don’t understand why she would want to be in this film.

That is not someone who belongs on the big screen.

Ford should vanish as well.

All that is needed is Hamill’s version of Obi-Wan (Old Luke).

The word that all three seem to be coming back reeks of desperation.

Agree, I think some fans don't even know what they wish for, I don't think Hamill as an old Luke is a good idea either, these are sort of fun ideas in theory and on paper but Hamill is no Guinness. We love Carrie, Mark and Harrison but I expect it will be painful to watch even as small cameos, it will be fun for those making the film, but not so fun for the audience. Seeing these characters as old are an even worse idea than any ideas Lucas managed to realize in the prequels.

We want you to be aware that we have no plans—now or in the future—to restore the earlier versions.

Yes, there are different opinions on this matter obviously, and I should state that it's not the looks of the actors that's my concern, I see no big problem there actually, it's the very idea of these characters showing up as old versions of themselves, it's only rooted in nostalgia. These are basically comic book characters, you don't want to see a 70+ year old Solo, trust me. At least I won't.

We want you to be aware that we have no plans—now or in the future—to restore the earlier versions.

Stick to watching porn if you only want to see people who fit your narrow definition of beauty featured on the big screen.

Are you thirteen years old?

As for Carrie not looking like she's in her 20s anymore; well, what did you expect? Her appearance changes dramatically even from Star Wars to Jedi.

I highly doubt that they will be going for "beautiful princess Leia" at this point. Rather, if they take the EU into account, this is a woman who has been at war, with the galaxy and with her own government, for thirty odd years. She's had three children with a man who was not known for his stable, fatherly influence, and has undergone the rigors of becoming a Jedi, something that loses many people their limbs, and often their lives. The face that has seen all that would be a tad careworn to say the least.

I agree that they don't need Harrison, unless his character changes as entirely as Leia's should. I don't want to see the same characters doing the same things. They are beyond that at this point.

And this.

Leia aging gracefully into a lovely old lady doesn't fit the character at all. I don't want a film full of supermodels. I want a film full of real characters.

It's like it's quite possible that Picasso would have loved to use Photoshop for some of his paintings if it was available back then, but if you take a picture from Picasso and recreate it in Photoshop, it's not going to be the same picture and it can hardly be used to demonstrate Picasso's brush techniques.

This is pretty solid.

Why is it that when I look at Luke here, I imagine him painted up like The Joker?

Is the old Val still growing?

I could connect Hamill and Ford with Luke and Han from the Original Trilogy.

But there is just no way I could connect Fisher to Leia. And I am not a 13 years old porn addict. I am just being realistic...

She looks older.

They all do.

Look at Diana Rigg, she hasn't got a young body but she looks like the same woman who played Emma Peel only older.

There is a lot of nerd sexism.

All the near porn cosplay of girls posted around.
