RE: SW Trilogy Arcade emulation - promising development

Has anybody else had this problem? Only the Hoth level works for me. The other two just display a black screen with music playing and no input works other than escape to quit or ctrl+r to reset etc.

I can't find anything online about this and I've tried two ROMs from different sources. I can only think that both those ROMs have something wrong with them. Can someone please PM me the source for a working ROM?

Thanks

Just finished a playthrough with Supermodel. You can find it at my livestream, over here. I had to run it windowed because livestream wouldn't pick it up in fullscreen. The fps took a hit because of that, but it's still watchable - and hey, I did better because of it!

edit- my best video quality livestream yet, but we've got Skype commentary from my friends because I didn't know how to turn it off... intelligence level may vary. Nothing from me though, because it didn't pick up me.

Did a good run recently in a comic book store. Beat all 3 planets on one credit! Unfortunately, my shield recharge after Endor wasn't full and I died shortly into the final battle. Still, I rarely make it past ONE planet without needing to insert new coins. So I was pretty proud of this one.

That's what happens to me basically every game. You hardly ever encounter a machine set to easy mode and in the higher difficulty settings, you're most likely going to to have your one death somewhere on the Battle of Endor before the Shuttle boss. This is due to bad screens, broken or fixed joysticks etc. I have only beaten the game physically on one credit when these outside factors were absolutely minimal, because you are limited to your timing, aiming, accuracy and speed. and having a seat model helps, but not the projector 50" screens or larger because you actually cannot get to the sides of the screen to aim.

The best model is the Namco arcade which is just a normal standup cabinet with an attached Sega era custom seat. This was my favorite and best machine and I played this in a nearby arcade until it closed.

My goal on every machine I come across no matter condition or parts that are fixed to have you pumping in more quarters is to have the one death as near to the end of the DSII battle as possible and beat both Fett and Vader, achieving as many of the 15 secrets as possible. Usually I get one DSII death, one lightsaber opponent beaten and anywhere between 12-14 secrets achieved.

VADER!? WHERE THE HELL IS MY MOCHA LATTE? -Palpy on a very bad day.
