Han D. SoloHi, I just stumbled across these:

Final Conflict

Imperial Collection
They are supposedly preliminary designs for the 2004 SEs and I like both of them much better than what we ended up with. Last great STAR WARS box-set art IMO was the 97 SE (Both VHS and LD). The 2000 SE was ok too but nothing special.
Now, does anyone know whether there are any higher res pictures of these two designs, I would love to recreate them.

Lucas: I am altering the film. Pray I don't alter it any further.
Fans: This film is getting worse all the time!

Alright, just hand over the Technicolor and no one gets hurt. Those really are nice. It would be easier to re-create it if we had another angle of the last pic on the far right of the second image to see what the other images are. You could always take some liberties and come up with something unique.
Cool Find, thanks for sharing : )
I need more Goldenthal!

Jedi KnightThe Vader Helmet is wrong though, it is clearly of the Revenge of the Sith Vader and not the oot.

Actually it isn't. I'm not sure when it has been photographed, it's either from ROTJ era or the SEs. But it's not from ROTS.
And I thought the only good thing about the 2004 DVDs was the packaging, I like it a lot, simple and classy. Those look more like some fan made boxes.
And in the time of greatest despair, there shall come a savior, and he shall be known as the Son of the Suns.
