The idea of merging the two Boba Fett voices together is a good one and something I would like to see.....errr, here.

However, I just don't get the consistency argument. Yes, Ady has already said he plans to alter Jango's voice in Ep.2 but he doesn't have too. Accents aren't genetic. We don't inherit them from our parents. We develope our own accents. There is no genetic marker for an accent so why would a clone (either Boba or any of the troopers) have the same voice.

The other argument is we never hear Boba talk without his helmet on. His natural voice may sound more like Jango's but he could have a voice modulator built into his helmet.

An example of both of these is Anakin Skywalker himself. His mother had a distinct accent but in the 9 years he lived with her (the same amount of time Boba lived with Jango) he didn't develope a simaller accent and doesn't sound anything like her. Later, after suffering from his injuries in Ep.3 he is given a walking life support system with it's own mask and as soon as he dons that mask, his voice changes. Sugesting that the Vader mask has a voice modulator built in.

Sorry if I've not made my ideas on this clear enough. It's very hard to put down in words my arguments for the origonal voice and why I just don't get why people keep on saying it would help with consistency with Ep.2.
