This is fantastic.  It's ironic that I only just decided to get my hands on Movealong's ANH and ESB projects, though I'd read about them many times before.  Then remembering that I had seen this thread in the preservation forum, I decided to see if anything was happening with this.  And it's nearly done!  Exciting and great timing.  Thanks for your efforts.

I am not a huge fan of RotJ and have only seen it a few times, the first time being around 10 years after the film came out even though I saw the first films in the theatre.

So for me, this is the perfect shortened way to see the film to make it more bearable. I have listened to the audio before many years ago on some streaming site but could not picture in my head how it would look compared to how it sounded.

You have done a good job with this. Yes, there are lots of jump cuts but unfortunately, that is what the audio demands. Thankfully, none are too jarring. Likewise, the use of stills is handled well and they look OK as well?

All in all a good project and well worth the wait........

Out of curiosity, how long is this "little break" from the DVD going to be?  Not trying to rush or be rude, but I'm excited to have a nice DVD version.

hi, sorry i have not posted in awhile as i am in the process of moving, i am therefore having to place the dvd creation on hold for 2-3 months, sorry to keep you waiting even longer.

Thank you all for your appreciative words, they mean a lot due to the amount of time I spent editing the video.

I will be continuing with the project before the end of November hopefully, thou I may not have the time to create a subtitle track unless someone could help in that area, I would appreciate it much.

thou the finished DVD may not be available until sometime early next year as I will be creating a PAL/NTSC versions.

Ok here is an update

I have sorted the oval shaped wipe, that is not a problem now.

I can now say "side 1 of the edit is complete" no more alterations to be made.

now to complete side 2, which is much more trickier, hope to have that completed soon.

It will be so worth the wait.

i have created and converted an NTSC version of the video, today I have been creating extra video files for the DVD & maybe a blu-ray! It will be some time before I will have it complete, thou I will have some spare time soon that should help me to complete it, I know it has been a long time since I 1st started the project.

No worries, man.  Take as long as you need.  I think it's fantastic that The Story Of Trilogy will finally be complete!

In the process of encoding a few video files, they take time to create :-( thou will be in the process to start the creations of DVD @ bluray soon :-)

Has started on the creation of the discs, intro videos & the main menu are finished, in the process of creating chapter marks & the navigations of the discs, thou still need to create files for the project, hopefully it will be complete soon :-)
