The Story of Return of the Jedi LP27th Nov 2011 - ( I am resting from completing this project until xmas )
( only because i have not much time on my hands at the minute )
I am in the process of creating the video to the Return of the Jedi Story LP.
I have now recieved the audio.
An update of my 'title crawl', The crawl that i have created is kinda looking more like the film crawl, so guess i will keep at that as i am not having any help with this.
If someone could create a DVD cover or if someone could send me scans of the LP & booklett pages would be really helpfull.
(could you please post if you are in the process of creating a DVD cover for me.)
(I would also be greatfull if someone could send me scans of the:> 'story of - readalong' picture book images, as my book was destroyed years ago.)

well i did complete the project !!without image pans & zooms!! using the 2008 - 4:3 Bonus Disc original version, then decided to start editing again due to quality using the SE 2008 anamorphic DVD Slimcase box release.

Padawan LearnerI certainly applaud your effort. It must have been nearly impossible. While the STAR WARS and EMPIRE "story of" lps were based on the finished mono soundtracks of each film, the JEDI lp only used the actors audio. Other than that the soundtrack was vastly incomplete. Stock Ben Burtt effects were dropped in that (usually) beared little resemblance to the final JEDI soundtrack. The pacing was way off because they didn't even have a final film to work with, and much of the music was different.

I'm a professional designer (who also frequently creates 'bootleg' art) and I'd be very tempted to stay as close to the original artwork, as movealong did with his efforts. I feel these projects should be about preserving the the original release as much as possible.

Better Grumpy than DopeyWhatever happened to MoveAlong? He said here he was planning on doing Jedi eventually - I guess real life took over.
It's nice that someone else has stepped in to do this, and the clips you've put up so far have been very good.

When i was a kid this was my only way of revisiting the movie, as there was no vhs of the movie then, and anyway we did not have a vhs only a hifi stereo with subwoofers and i would sit down in a worn out old chair and imagine the movie as i listened to it.
One thing that always annoyed me though was the alternate yub-nub song on the LP, its not the film version it is the alternate take as found on the anthology set and original album, where the real film version was on the fourth cd in the anthology set.
